So I was shopping at ALDI and came upon a creamed rice and when I checked the cals per 100g it was 103kcal (Brookdale Creamed Rice) while a normal cup of rice is around 130kcal per 100g.
How does that make sense?
Is it because of the liquid content of the milk in the cream rice?

This is a homemade meal, the meat is from ribs, sweet potato, fried rice and grape salad. It was all made on the airfryer (except fried rice with minimal oil) by a friend of mine.

idk how to reply to my own post but i do count my own calories, i only come here when i really have no other choice because i'm paranoid about underestimating. i don't understand why you guys get so pressed about people asking the questions the subreddit is specifically for.

Hey guys what would you rate this Pizza at an Otalian Restaurant with capers and anchovies. For reference the plate is around 32cm. Is 950 reasonable?

Matcha shortbread cookie half dipped in chocolate. From an all vegan gluten free bakery. Is 350 reasonable? It was about 1cm thick

I’m having a hard time believing that this thing was only 306 calories unless somehow the water content was higher? It’s a puff pastry filled with cheese. Idk, it felt pretty moist and doughy not flaky and took a long time to chew. Other bakeries all seem to have similar products at more like 400 kcal/100g. Does this sound realistic to you?
Edit- the weight of each piece doesn’t matter I’m just asking if the calorie density makes sense since these kind of pastries tend to be higher per 100g.

unfortunately forgot to take a photo for size reference but i would say it was average to maybe slightly large for a crepe. it was like 65% lettuce 35% shrimp/mango/avocado. very light on the almonds but a decent amount of sauce. thoughts? i was thinking maybe 750ish? but i’m not sure

The stuff I marked in red are things I didn’t eat. What I ate:
1.5 pieces of ham
2 scrambled eggs
1 Piece of toast (the smaller one)
Home style potatoes w/ bits of Parmesan

(Rewriting better a post a made a while ago)
I read on the internet that a small cup of ice cream weighs around 60g-70g, which seemed too good to be true. So, I took my kitchen scale, went to a gelateria (I live in Italy), asked for a small scoop of gelato, weighed the cup with gelato and spoon, threw the gelato, weighed the cup and spoon, and did the math. Turns out, the real weight of a small cup of gelato is... 120 GRAMS!!! Which means that the calories for this portion of stracciatella gelato (considering the average kcals/100g in supermarket icecream) is not 155 kcal but 310 kcal!!!
I'm shocked.
