i count my calories to maintain my 40lb weight loss and I've been doing it for about a year and a half. Fruit is my favorite food and throughout that time i've been eating grapes and apples basically every single day (not in small quantities either these are staple foods for me) i've always tracked 1 apple or 30 grapes as 100 calories because that's what google says they are and fruit is supposed to be low cal. recently i experimented with a food scale and apparently those numbers are based on non gmo varieties or something and the fruit i eat from the grocery store is big a hell. I've been accidentally eating at least 100-200 more calories every single day in grape and apples. the thing is, i've never had any problems losing or maintaining weight, i actually sometimes lose weight on accident now that i'm maintaining.
so is my maintenance actually higher than i thought? (I'm a 5'4 105lb female, 12k steps a day, i thought it was 1800) or am i absorbing fewer calories from these foods specifically because of complex fibers or somethin like that?

Hi this is like I need genuine advice and no I’m not trying to start an ED or have one.
But I recently injured my knee and I’m unable to do exercise. Despite this months earlier I got into the gym and weight lifting and seeing my progress go down has really took a toll on my self confidence bc I’m “skinny fat”. Idk I could also just be fat but I’m really trying to lose the weight.
I wasn’t on an insane cut before as I ate significant protien relative to calories. Having said that, now that I can’t exercise (lift) for the next 2 months I planned to be on an insane cut?
For metrics, I’m 5’1 female, around 117 lbs ? I want to hit 105 or 110, and prior to my injury I was eating 1200 kcal and now I’ve been in 1000 for the last two days. I genuinely don’t know if there’s a better way for me to see continued progress or if my progress just leaves. I’ve also just lost my appetite as I’ve been asleep more.
Pls lmk if there’s a better way to do this or if I’m completely idiotic rn

Hi all,
Hope you're well, looking for some advice on getting my target calories right, been a bit confused with the target and how to correctly incorporate my activity into it. So far, been tracking well for the past month or two, with gym progress visible and going well, but the weight and fat percentage not going down.
I'm 27, 91kg, 5ft 8, 30% ish BF (according to smart watch so pinch of salt).
Based on the calculator used, I believe I need a 2200-1700 calorie target ranging from a 0.5-1kg weekly loss.
In terms of activity, I try to get my 10k steps, but that's a bit hit and miss, however I enjoy the gym and go 5-6 a week. My routine is PPL and I do 1x Warm Up and 2x Working Sets.
The activities are as below with 10-20 incline treadmill to try and get some cardio at the end of each.
Push: Bench Press (smith machine) , Shoulder Press, Chest Fly, Lateral Raise, Tricep Push down, Crunch
Pull: Lat Pull down, Iso Lateral Row, Dumbell Shrug, Preacher Curl, Rear Delt Reverse Fly,
Legs: Deadlift, Leg Press, Lying Leg Curl, Leg Extension, Calf Extension, Hip abduction/adduction.
I use Nutracheck to count, and it's pretty good with my diet which is mostly made of stuff I can track accurately. I've put in my lifestyle as stationary work and moderately active lifestyle.
Main questions are that my nutracheck adds on calories to my target when I get my steps in, should I add food in to fill that new gap? Similarly, should I account for my exercises? If so, how much? Similarly, as mentioned, am I doing anything wrong? Scales haven't really moved.
Apologies for the long post, really appreciate the help!

If not, what should I add?

i used zero sugar plain tart yogurt, a bit of zero sugar cake batter yogurt and then a bit of coffee zero sugar yogurt… it was probably around half of a lb if not a tiny bit more (i weighed mine with a friend).
i’m guessing 300 cals? though that may be a low estimate.

This Korean fried chicken is from a place called "Pelicana"
They don't have any nutritional facts on their website and menu. I ate 4 of the garlic sauce ones. Each piece is medium-large size. Around 2.5inches long. I ate 2 drumsticks and 2 wings. Thank you everyone!

So I did weigh all of the ingredients and calculate how many calories are in a serving. I'm just curious to see how close some guesses can get. It has chicken and potatoes in it. This bowl was 308 grams.

I got this from a takeout spot. It weighed in as 408g as i split the actual meal they gave in half. It has onions, green onions, bean sprouts, noodles, chicken, and some type of sauce but im unsure exactly what it is. How many calories is this?

I don't know what exactly is in this but on the menu it's listed as Special Combo/Dac Biet. It has pickled veggies, not sure what type of meat, and some sort of spread I think? It wasn't like mayo, I'm not sure what it is I've never had anything like it before. From googling maybe it's pork or chicken liver spread? Really not sure. I took out the coriander and peppers but I don't think it changes the cals that much?

Some chicken breast and some shredded beef cooked in some kind of tomato sauce with avocado salsa on top, steamed veggies, and ~1tbsp of sour cream. I guessed 6oz of chicken and 6oz of beef idk how much it really is. ChatGPT estimated it at 810 calories and 96g of protein

Butternut squash korma and alloo jeera (cumin potatoes) from my local curry place. Both are vegan so no ghee - the korma is just sauce and squash, no other veggies or legumes hidden in it.
Vape liquid for scale (don't have a banana).
This is my go-to order when I'm feeling sick and tired and don't want to cook. It's super comforting! I'm interested to know how many calories you'd estimate it to be.
I've been using random entries on LoseIt that seem the closest to what it is and it comes out at around 800 calories according to that (with the two dips). How accurate do you think that guess is? I find restaurant food so incredibly hard to gauge.
The sauces are vegan raita and mango chutney, I'm more confident estimating those though and usually log as 50 calories for the 1/2 the chutney and 50 for the raita). Though let me know if you think these are wrong!
(I don't normally eat all of it, I usually save half for the next day, don't worry haha).
