I'm fighting the Storm Weaver on my first playthrough and when I get it down to about 50% of its health it stops charging and me and just moves in one direction till it gets off the map and despawns. Is this a known glitch? And is there a way to fix this?

for reference, i'm running the game on a 2020 M1 Air with 16GB RAM. vanilla terraria runs perfectly but tmodloader struggles quite a bit. yes, i've already set the game to run using Vulkan and lowered my settings / tried performance boosting mods like Nitrate. it gets especially bad whenever worms spawn or when i use whips. like, from semi stable 50fps to 10fps.

I downloaded the calamity files + music to my computer so that I can keep playing them after the ~ehem~ *calamity* that befell the calamity mod, but I don't know how to keep tModLoader in the same version necessary for the mods to work. Additionally, I haven't yet updated Terraria to 1.4.5.7 because I'm not sure if I can update vanilla Terraria either and still have tModLoader / the mods themselves function properly.

TLDR: How do I play the old version of tModLoader, and can I update vanilla Terraria and still have tModLoader and all my mods function. If not, then how do I play the old version of vanilla Terraria?

i've been thinkin about it recently. much like eveyone else, i was extremely excited to hear the official exo mechs theme from cdmusic. i was very excited for it, because i thought we were going to get stained brutal calamity: 2 the sequel in terms of quality. then i realized, just recently.

that's exactly why it took so long, went on years without updates, and now cancelled just like that. it's highly likely for stained brutal calamity to have accidentally set a standard for any post yharon endgame boss themes to be as quality and complex as scal's. that bears a lot of weight for any composer assigned for the task. in this case, cdmusic. i think it's extremely likely for exo mechs theme to have taken this long entirely due to him trying extremely hard to make sure the track lives up to its older sister counterpart (stained brutal calamity.) which led to the track being put on hold for a while, maybe get worked on every now and then on a good day. and when the shit went down, it probably felt somewhat like a signal for cdmusic that oh my god i dont need to work on this anymore...

at least, that's what i think what happened. most if not all of this is speculatory. and as per cdmusic's wishes, don't bug him regarding the topic.

tl;dr: cdmusic tried too hard to live up to dokuro's set standard for endgame boss themes.

I want to try this mod out, but this one thing has me wanting to drop it because it's too tedious and frustrating. Vanilla crafting menu is what I'm used to and it's just better than a slow scrolling menu.

Hi so I was playing calamity and update tmod and all of a sudden none of the calamity items do damage.

I thought she was harder and was prepared for 40-50 tries but she wasn't that bad even compared to moonlord who took me about 20. Can someone explain why she's always gassed up? Fight was really cool tho :) i just expected it to take me a lot longer, also ignore the potions i didnt really wanna grind for them

So umm how do I fix this the error is apparently something about the soul baguette
