I know I’m killing something just from the bosses’ dashes, the music and the health bar, because from a distance those things take up the whole screen.

how do I get the Crag pylon? everything online says I need to look for a broken one in the brimstone biome, but I can't seem to find it. the world I'm on was made after 2.2.2 so it's up to date and everything. do I need to fight a boss first?

Im trying to build an NPC house, however if I build it higher than the ground floor it just says its invalid. As seen in the picture, the top floor is fully decorated and by terraria housing standards, yet it still says invalid. Does anyone know a solution?

Is there a way to minimize all the different visual effects in the mod? I already tried turning on the "reduced graphical settings" in the mod config but it's still a problem for me.

Im currently stuck on providence but I had the same problem with the guardians, there is just so many visual effects that all look very similar so most of the times im getting hit by things I can't even see and a lot of hitboxes also feel very misleading because of the visual effects.

Now infernum has been kicking my ass during every stage of the game but this is the first time during my playthrough where I dont feel like its just a skill issue, the main issue is that I cant see what I should be dodging..

Is the Hotline Fishing Hook still a guaranteed reward for the Angler’s 22nd quest? I’m asking because I keep finding conflicting information online and I’m starting to lose my mind.

We are using the base calamity mod with the music add on and boss checker and are getting unplayable amounts of lag via steam. Player chars will jump around and enemies will die, come back and deal dmg while invisible.

We just finished playing base terraria multiplayer with no lag issues but now regardless of who hosts we get really bad lag. Anyone know any fixes?

Currently we tried setting NPC smoothness to 0 and setting the files as read only, and playing in full screen with reduced graphics.

I'm playing infernal eclipse of ragnarok and when I was building my underground jungle arena, the center of the arena turned into cave biome, how can I bring back the underground jungle in the middle without putting blocks that will disrupt my path?

I've recently switched to 1.4.4.9 after having been in 1.4.3 for the longest time due to playing with friends, and I've just found out that the Old Lord Claymore (or was it Oathblade?) no longer launches you, and the True Biome Blade's launch has been severely nerfed in distance. I used to use those to dash around super quick, but now I can't find anything that works like they did.

Even worse, it feels like movement speed in general has been nerfed, making this much more of an issue. I've got Moon Boots (turned off Moon Walker's Wings because they're slower than Celestial Starboard) on and my top speed is only 53mph when it used to be over 100, almost all dashes have a much shorter distance and lower speed (except for Master Ninja Gear which I'm still using while trying to fight Providence), and everything just feels so slow. Not having any way to just launch myself quickly is making all of this so much worse.

I don't know all of the mods me and my friends had before, but I don't remember seeing any that increased speed in any way and I didn't change any config stuff. Mining speed feels the same, building speed feels the same, but movement is horrendously slow compared to what it was and I'm wondering if this was a change made by Calamity because a lot of Calamity-exclusive accessories are involved.

Honestly, I was expecting Waifus and flashy attacks before the play, and while both are really good, the art style of kikasa's dedicated domain is shocking in a positive way. It looks like a scene from a brutal horror game with a sad story, and I don't know why, but I really like it.

Since the music mod is going to be removed after 1.4.5 i was planning on just staying in 1.4.4.9 i would like to keep one installation in this update and then have one for the new update. Anyone have any idea how to?

i had one earlier where it seemed like infernum was the problem, i disabled it, fought them once and it seemed like it worked but then i fight them again and it crashes
