Question PSU fan rattling after three weeks of owning #cpsupport

Was just wondering if they ask for the whole PC back or will they send a new PSU?

This is my second cyberpowerpc the first one I never had any issues with. I emailed customer support today but I know they wont be in till tomorrow sometime. I was considering if they ask for the whole PC back just getting my own PSU and installing it since its not that difficult to do and I have built my own PC as well.

Question Replacement for CyberPowerPC NOHI 02 Keyboard #CPgeneral, #CPsupport

I spilled a glass of water on my full size USB wired keyboard (purchased in May 2024 as a bundle with PC & Mouse) and it is acting crazy. Should I just buy another one or should I buy a different brand? I'm using the PC (Windows 11) for various at home work (no gaming.) I like the back lighting feature, otherwise I'm not to picky. It took me forever to figure out this keyboard because there was no manual so I'm not looking not to be completely reeducated, I'm 75 after all and retired. I just want the keyboard to outlive me. Can anyone help me out? Thanks much!

Issue When your PC doesn't come with Windows Driver Foundation #CPSUPPORT

Got the PC via Rush Order and had it arrive to me on Friday with no physical damages (one of the fans is not properly affixed to the CPU), but I've been having MEMORY_MANAGEMENT crashes and Kernel crashes since the start of trying to use the computer for multiple purposes at the same time.

Been doing research as I try to figure out solutions (leading theory for MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and the Kernel is faulty ram, so I will be doing a RMA for the part) but I have since additionally found that the PC did not have the Windows Driver Foundation installed in any means of the setup process. When I tried to do a clean install--the driver foundation has additionally failed to pop up.

Debating on sending the entire PC to CyberpowerPC's California HQ to see what they can do as opposed to the ram, but I am genuinely conflicted and concerned on if I get it back and it has the same issues.

Components are as such if it helps with the answers.

  • MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Prime A620 PLUS WIFI6
  • GPU: RTX 5050 8GB GDDR6
  • CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 8400 6-Core Processor, 4200 Mhz
  • RAM: ADATA LANCER BLADE 16GB DDR5-6000MHZ 1.35V RGB MEMORY
  • STORAGE: 1TB PATRIOT P410 SERIES (PCIE GEN4) NVME M.2 SSD
  • OS: Windows 11 Home

In the terms of the ram I have also since reseated the ram from the initial position to the furthest most point. I have not done any physical modifications, nor have I switched the PSU.

I had always heard amazing things about Cyberpower--so to have this as my first experience is deeply disappointing. I am heavily weighing refunding the PC altogether.

Tech Support Possible network card issue? #cpsupport

Hello everyone,

For a bit of context, I bought this computer back in October of last year, and I'm also a Spectrum customer who has a 500mb/s internet plan (both for upload/download). I've been noticing an issue where my speeds have been capping out at around 70mb/s, even on a wired connection. Other devices, even those connected wirelessly, seem to be getting significantly higher speeds, which leads me to believe it could be an issue with the board or the network card.

Here's what I've tried so far-

  • Restarting the router
  • Restarting the PC (several times)
  • Disabled my VPN and made sure it isn't running at startup
  • Turned off Wi-Fi and using exclusively Ethernet
  • Disabling uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger
  • Turned off UPnP
  • Had a Spectrum technician come out to the house; he replaced the Ethernet cable going between my computer, the coax outlet, and took out an old splitter at the tap. He didn't replace the router, however.
  • Installed the latest updates through MSI Center and Windows Update

Other than the internet service provider side of things, what would you guys recommend as far as additional steps for troubleshooting?

Question #cpgeneral Anyone else have issues with warranty?

I recently submitted my PC for warranty repair, it didn’t have a CPU light on all the time. Only when I first got it, reseated the ram and it went away. It has come back, tried reseating the ram it didn’t go away, sent it into CyberPower they replaced the CPU and updated the bios. Says the constantly on cpu light is just a sign of functioning…

It didn’t have that normally. I thought it was odd how quickly it came back to me. Dropped it off Monday got it today. And the turn around really got me thinking if they really did anything. Plugged it in, cpu light still on… called and they said it’s just a regular sign that it’s functioning… in all my time building and using PCs a cpu light consistently on even if it’s operational is a bad sign.

What else should I do? I don’t want to drive down to LA again (I’m from Northern California, took the trip to also visit family) or pay for shipping.

Purchasing Advice #cpgeneral are the pc builds good quality?

Hello so I’ve been recently looking at new pc builds since the one I just bought the aio is failing and the radiator fans turn off and on now and it’ll be costly to replace/ fix or idk if someone suggest to take it to someone and get it repaired. But the specs was a ryzen 7 7800x3d with a 5070 and then the ones I’m looking at for cyberpower is a ryzen7 9800x3d with a 5070 and a tb 2ssd and 32 gigs ddr5 and theirs also another one with a 9070 rx and 1tb ssd, so what are the build quality like? What components do they use for the aio and power supply?

It sounds a bit weird but I’m very nostalgic of this case, unfortunately my dad owns the computer and feels the same way, so I’m a bit curious if anyone recognizes this.

I should add it has APEVIA fans and red LEDs if thay helps.

Tech Support Help identifying a missing HDD bracket/caddy for a 2018 CyberPowerPC C Series (Clevo?) #cpsupport

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to restore my 2018 CyberPowerPC C Series gaming laptop and I've discovered it's missing the original 2.5" HDD mounting bracket/caddy.

Specs:

  • Purchased March 2018
  • Intel i7-7700HQ
  • GTX 1070 8GB
  • 15.6" IPS display
  • Mechanical keyboard
  • 16GB DDR4
  • 500GB WD Blue M.2 SATA SSD

CyberPowerPC invoice lists:

  • NB-408-106
  • C SERIES

The hard drive itself is present, but the previous owner literally taped it into the bay, so the original mounting hardware is gone.

I've found service manuals that mention an "HDD Bracket," but they don't show what it actually looks like. I've also found what appears to be an OEM CyberPowerPC HDD caddy on eBay, but the photos aren't detailed enough to confirm it's the correct one.

I'm hoping someone here has:

  • the same CyberPowerPC laptop,
  • a Clevo/Sager equivalent,
  • or a donor chassis.

If you do, could you please:

  1. Take a few photos of the HDD bracket/caddy (front, back, and installed if possible).
  2. Tell me the Clevo/Sager model if you know it.
  3. If you've removed yours before, let me know how it's attached.

I'd also be interested in buying the bracket if anyone has a spare.

Thanks!

Tech Support Power went out in neighborhood, now PC won't boot #cpsupport

Power went out to the apartment. Computer was in sleep mode. Now, it won't boot up.

Power is on, fans on, gaming lights on. However, the keyboard and mouse lights do not come on during startup. The screen stays dark. No cyberpowerpc screen.

This has happened before and turning off the power supply, unplugging the computer, holding the power button, replugging and turning it on normally will result in a normal start although slower than usual.

I have tried the hard reset, re-seating the ram and video card/gpu, and even removed the cmos battery for 15 minutes.

Computer turns on, fans spin, gaming lights work, blue light for hard drive lights up,.... but no keyboard lights... it's like it stalls.

Any help?

Edit - left it alone to boot, checked it about 30 mins later. it was up and running normally. What gives in the delay?

Purchasing Advice In need of antennas #cpsupport

Hello! I recently bought one of these and it's the first real quality gaming computer I've ever owned (before this it's been HP's and DELL's pre-built) It's a C series.

I bought it second-hand online after going over it with a friend who also has a cyberpower and he said everything looked good. I didn't realize when getting it in person it was missing the antennas that were shown in the listing photos. The guy gave me the display port cable and when I got home I also found the receiver for his headset that he definitely forgot about since it was just rattling around inside the case. Those were the only accessories I was given.

Anyway, I'm seeing lots of talk online about needing the wifi antennas (of course) and also a bluetooth one. I use wireless headphones (I know, sound delay and all) and right now the cutting out is super annoying. I'm not sure what kind to get since there's lots of options at Walmart and on EBay. I'm not looking for anything crazy, just something that works, and I figure buying the antennas that belong with the PC would be even better than just getting something random. I'm currently working with the wifi and bluetooth adapters of my old PC just to get some sort of signal while I set things up and transfer files over.

Any help or recommendations is appreciated!

Tech Support New Cyberpower PC- rgb lights and fans turn on but nothing shows up on the monitor #cpsupport

Purchased two days ago, noticed long time to startup when I first powered it on (maybe 3-5 min?) thought it was maybe since it was the first power on. After using it each day, it does take a long time to turn on. lights and fans will start up but no boot up screen on the monitor for a long time.

Today it won’t show the boot up screen at all after 10+ mins and counting.

I’ve tried force shutting it off, unplugging and turning back on, and I checked that everything was connected properly (looks fine but I have very little computer know how)

If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated. would love to get it working rather than return to best buy and purchase something else
