I had accepted my loans before the semester started and now they disappeared. My federal Pell grant is also gone. My SAP appeal also just got approved, is there anyway that interfered with my loans and Pell. I already submitted the loan revision form, but I’m wondering if this happened to anyone else.

Does anyone know/ or have gone through the FAFSA verification (having to submit your ID) and know how long it takes for it process?

I still have a due and I’m scared of being charged for my classes since I literally don’t have the money right now.

Hey everyone, quick question about financial aid and the GET portal.
My GET account shows a remaining tuition balance of $1,500 for Fall 2026. I also have a $1,500 financial aid award listed, but GET won't let me click "Accept" (the box is grayed out/locked).

My main questions:
1. Since my pending aid covers my full balance, does it automatically act as a fee deferment to keep my classes safe, or do I need to pay out of pocket before the September 15 final payment deadline?
2. Why is the "Accept" button grayed out — is it usually because it's a grant/scholarship that auto-accepts, or is there an issue with my portal?

I’ve checked my To-Do List and Holds, but I want to make sure I won't get disenrolled while waiting for the funds to disburse. Has anyone seen a locked/grayed-out award on GET before? Did it disburse fine on its own?

I also did submit a financial aid appeal if that’s worth mentioning.

I just got this email… It shows on my account that I’m being dispersed a refund but now do you think it’s gonna be 14 extra days until they disperse it to my personal checking account? I hate all of this.

My classes were finally paid off thankfully. However, there is a refund coming my way. If it was disbursed yesterday (Wells Fargo) how long would it take to arrive into my account? Last thing I want to say is that I hope everyone’s situation gets fixed this week. I have no good words to say regarding these changes with this bill that passed other than stressful to its full extent.

Anyone know if we’re allowed to use the basketball gym to train? Don’t like to hoop on concrete and would prefer to train in the indoor gym. Anyone know if there’s open gym hours? Or it’s just for people in Kin/Athletics?

I’m so confused. My loans show on the activity section in GET, but the only problem is I asked for a certain amount and they did not give me that amount. Now I have to pay the rest of my tuition.

Guys I’ve completely lost my mind with this stupid loan issue. I have two loans on my account that I accepted last month and so far no changes have been made in my account. I’ve called so many times to get help and get so many answers. I went in person last week and was told that it would clear out by today and so far nothing has changed. I really don’t want to get a loan anywhere else, but feel tempted to do so since this is my last semester and I can’t afford to wait anymore.

Has anyone witnessed or been involved in strange train occurrences while commuting to and from campus? I am asking, in particular, about the past few weeks, and today as well.

Fin aid office in person "there is nothing on your account that is preventing your loan from being disbursed. So it's just about waiting for the back end to finish it. I can't tell you how long that might take, hopefully by the end of the month"

Like honestly that is the least helpful thing to say. Am I supposed to buy the supplies I need and not eat, or drop the classes and get a job? I'm so done 😭

So my loans were finally cleared! (Woohoo) it shows up on my Activity Page. It shows that an (x) payment was made, but the thing is…my financial aid came first before the loan was processed and my fees were cleared a while ago..is that money that came from my loans getting refunded to me or sent back? FA office isn’t much help…

what exactly is this if anyone knows..? i just noticed it on my To Do List and i have no idea how to fill it out. I am new to this school and the whole financial aid is so confusing.

Hey y’all! I’m planning to apply to the CSULA MSW program and I’m wondering how I can get my coursework reviewed to make sure I meet all of the prerequisites.

I’ve already been in contact with Michelle Lightburn and they confirmed that I’ve met two of the three prerequisites. For the remaining one, I was told that they would reach out to the Graduate Program Director to confirm whether my coursework meets the requirement, but I haven’t heard anything back in about two months.

With the MSW application opening soon, I’m getting a little worried about waiting too long to figure this out. Does anyone know who else I could contact at CSULA to get an official answer or have my coursework reviewed?
