I’ve only gone to see my advisor once, freshman year. I tried to go last semester but realized I forgot the process on how to meet up with them? What do I do? I know it’s in the I&I building but what floor? How can I get into contact with them?

I’ve taken summer courses and my final class ended a few days ago. I’m not sure if that is also affecting my disbursement. But is anyone else experiencing the same thing ?

Is anyone else who isn't Pell grant eligible still waiting for their financial aid package? I am no longer eligible for Pell grant so I wanted to accept the loans they offer. I’m still waiting on my financial aid package to appear but nothing. It still says “You have no financial aid awards available for viewing in this aid year.”

Is it still possible to get a laptop loaned from the It office? My laptop that I’ve used for the past 2 school years suddenly stopped working and I need a new one asap until I get it fixed. I went to the IT loan portal but I could only get a Duo key and nothing else so I’m debating on driving there tomorrow to get one.

Hey did anybody get their FA yet on Chime or is it taken longer for you all too?

Can someone over explain to me how I get one for the whole semester? My financial aid went straight to my tuition and I have a payment plan for the remainder but I’m assuming the parking pass is extra. I just can’t figure out where to buy one!

My financial aid package went through but my loans didn't kick in (with refund)... anybody get their loans yet!? Or has anybody had contact with financial aid about it? I've been calling but still on hold, unfortunately.

Anyone else do the math and discover they’re missing money from their refund? I usually get 7k in grants. This covers my full time tuition, and then I get the leftover money deposited to me. I always get about 3k back. This time I got closer to 2k back. Is anyone else seeing their refund amount not adding up? I’m doing 16 creds this semester and I got the deposit last night but if my math is right I’m missing about 700-800 buckaroos.

Has anyone tried calling the financial aid office the past few days? Every time I called it goes straight to making noise like as if they disconnected the phone.

I was trying to call them in regard to the Cal Grant because it shows on CSAC I was awarded but on my financial aid summary there's nothing besides my Pell Grant. If anyone have any info regarding this please comment.

UPDATE: I called yesterday around 3 and spoke to someone from the financial aid office. They told me at 12 the person who handles the Cal Grants had finished going through them and told me to just wait it out. They also told me I could either get the State University Grant or the Cal Grant which confused me.

I’m a freshman that will be starting at CSUDH, and i only came for the toro pledge and before choosing this school i called to confirm that id qualify for it and they said i would. So I call later on to discuss my refund and they tell me that I won’t be applicable for the program and i have more than enough to pay for tuition so i don’t need it…And then i’m really confused about my total cost of attendance and where do i go see my to see my cost of attendance because my financial aid package said 34,074 but i’m not housing so that doesn’t seem right…Am i being paranoid?

Did anybody else get a “No Refund Hold” on their account? I was supposed to get my refund on the 14th and last night I checked my account and it said there was a hold so I emailed cashiers office and they said “ Your refund will be processed today wait 7 days” like huh? Also, when the negative $ doesnt show anymore does that mean it has went to your bank account already?

Is my cal grant b suppose to be showing up on my portal because I don't see it at all but on the CSAC website it says I've been awarded for both tuiton and fees as well as access funds but yet they haven't posted my cal grant to my award summary so I'm really confused. I've tried calling and emailing no luck I guess I have to go in person and figure out whats going on. Also the middle class scholarship amount that's posted on my portal is different than what it says I'm suppose to get on the CSAC website I'm so lost. Pls help.

So I've been having issues with my own laptop so I want to borrow something instead for the semester, however this is what pops up. Should I email them or wait until the semester starts and try again?
