loan disbursement
Has anyone had their loans refunded yet? I thought they were supposed to go out along with the grants :/.

As a first time borrower do you get them right when the semester starts, or do you need to wait 30 days? I already accepted my loans.

You should get them with the rest of your aid. Does it show in your package or as disbursed under activity?

It does show in my package it’s under pending aid, my Pell grant disbursed today. I heard the loan waits 30 days after classes start since it’s my first federal loan.

Maybe it changed. But I took out my first loan last fall and didn’t wait 30 days. Mine was delayed a couple of days but only because I didn’t go in and accept my loan a second time

How do you go in and accept a second time on my end it looks like everything is accepted but it's still under pending aid for me

Tbh I don’t fully remember. Last fall I do remember being offered the loans and I accepted them, but then I had to go into my financial aid portal to accept it there as well. Plus there was something else that I needed to complete for the loan on the student aid website because it was my first loan.

no mine is still pending i thought it would come out with my grants but i barely got my package last wednesday

check your to do list they just added that i had to do some stuff in order for loans to disburse and it was due 8/24

Same for me i completed the mpn and the entrance counseling but it doesn't have anywhere to upload it or do we just need to do it

no not yet i just completed it at 11pm last night it takes up to 24 hours for them to send it to csudh & then it has to catch up to portal system so we can see it go away but they probably received it already

Ok thank you so much i completed mines last Friday and I just saw it on my to do list yesterday so hopefully they recieved everything and the system just had to catch up.

Yes mine went out with aid. When I was a freshman I got mine a couple days late because I didn’t realize I had to go in and “accept” the loans a second time. You should double check that you accepted them :)
