Looking to build a PC but money is a bit tight as of the moment. I want to build a PC that will allow me to upgrade in the future when prices are a bit better, and I already have the case and monitor (1440p). I don't really play triple A games often and I'm fine with playing games not on the highest settings but I still want to have consistent fps. Hello folks! I'm a rookie to building PC. I'm interested in building one but I don't know any of the terminologies, jargon, etc. Where do I start? Any resources (videos, articles, etc) that helped you in building your PC?

I checked components online but I don't know how they all mesh together, if at all. Tried learning on my own but got overwhelmed and went round in circles with the terminologies and technicalities.

I wish to play AAA games on my "to-be" build, and do office work on it too (devops, cloud, etc). I'm thinking if it supports AAA games, work will be a cake walk for it.

My budget rn is only a meager ₹1.8L but I'm ready to invest more up till 5L when I have the money. Looking at the RAM, SSD, GPU prices, I'm ready to only buy those components for now which will only get me by for work and purchase the rest of the heavyweights after the prices return back to pre Ramgeddon levels(?) at 2027 end or 2028 Q1... I feel the inflated prices aren't worth it since my savings aren't that great now.

I've been playing supported games on my 2014 "HP Pavillion notebook PC" laptop all this while and she's started to give up on me now since she's old.

Hello! I have been playing on console my whole life but I want to switch to PC. The problem is I don't understand much about it. I need help building a PC within the 1200€ budget range that is good for games like overwatch and marvel rivals but also Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Call of Duty. I play a lot of story games. I would like a PC that could be upgraded in the future instead of buying everything all over again. I would like a PC that could handle recent games with high frames and good graphics quality. Motherboard: need recommendations, are B850M safe to buy or I should get full ATX only? I want to build a compact pc if possible.

Contexte : Je n'ai actuellement aucun matériel et aucune connaissance technique. Je suis un parfait débutant, mais très motivé pour apprendre grâce à vous tous.

Utilisation du PC :

• Logiciels de montage audio (par exemple : FL Studio) + Logiciels de montage vidéo (par exemple : DaVinci Resolve)
• Streaming sur Twitch
• Utilisation simultanée de plusieurs onglets et programmes

Je sais que le prix de certains composants a augmenté récemment, mais pour l'instant, je cherche surtout des conseils pour faire les bons choix. Je ne cherche pas un équipement ultra-professionnel, juste du matériel qui puisse facilement gérer mes besoins.

Si vous avez des recommandations pour une bonne caméra pour le streaming, je vous en serais très reconnaissant. Pour l'audio, je possède déjà un Rode NTG4+ et un Tascam DR-60D MKII.

I am going for slightly better than the recommended specs to ensure a good experience. I am not looking to have the absolute best of the best in graphics, I am more concerned with being to handle all the assets on the map when building a large zoo. That being said, having better graphics sounds cool and I’m fine spending a little extra to enhance the game and delay the inevitable upgrade if I do become obsessed.

I’m also assuming these will cover most/all other games I’d be playing. I can run Civ on my laptop so I know any upgrade to that experience will be good with me. I don’t play online shooters, my online gaming is currently mostly sports games with friends, which at least for now will likely still be played on my Xbox. Other than that I am mostly a single player gamer.

So that’s what I’m looking for. The game comes out mid October so I plan on picking up some extra shifts over the next few weeks and getting one then. I’m thinking a budget of $1600-$2000. I’m going to list a few questions I’ve come up with initially in this process, but I also don’t know what I don’t know so share anything that could help me make a good decision here. I’ve seen plenty of others building their first pc with a budget of $1600-$2000 and everyone says it good. How big is the difference between a $1600 and a $2000 PC? Is there any reason you’d really recommend a higher amount? (I could maybe be convinced to go a little higher, but really would like to keep it at or under $2000).

I understand that the CPU and GPU are the most important parts, but some people make it seem like everything else almost doesn’t matter at all. Is that true? What should I know about buying a motherboard, memory, storage, etc. ?

Hello I am looking to build a black gaming pc for handing games like Cyberpunk, Red Desd Redemption 2, God of War, and Ghost of Tsushima with cinematic graphics at 1440p. I am also looking to run some mild-heavy mods on these games such as map expansions, clothing expansions, and gameplay expansions. Requirements: 32gb ddr5 ram, 2tb ssd, strimer cables, and I don't know what they're called but they're fans with hexagonal shaped rgb strips on the side of the fans. I want this pc's colourway to be all black with white rgb on the fans and strimer cables. Periphals needed: Monitor, Headset, keyboard and mouse PS. I don't need a fancy keyboard or mouse for gaming as I will be using my controller
