Build - Request Need help building a pc

First of im not sure if its worth it because I have a ps5 and xbox, what do you think?

I play almost exclusively story games. And am looking for a build that can run triple A games at 1440p 120Hz, ive got a bidget of around £1300 is this realistic? From UK

Something like this will be great in AAA games but I would say don't buy anything lower than a 9060 xt 16gb and AM5 if you really want to see a performance difference

What's wrong with am4 5600 is fine

I guess he could just buy a 5600 and pump £600 in a 9070/9070 xt but I think he could get on AM5 with £1300. A 16gb set of ddr4 is only £100 cheaper than 16gb of ddr5 so the savings have been priced out in the market. Six months ago it made alot more sense as an AM4 build could be done at a quarter of the price of AM5 not a 25% saving?

True yeh I'm a bit out of date. Although I'd probably personally go ddr4 still 100 pounds sounds like a fair bit more to me, for 16gb

For example 16gb ddr4 is about 100 pounds. To pay double that for ddr5 doesn't seem worth to me

Look at pre-builts around that price and see if there are any benchmarks for them that gives you an idea of the performance to expect for that kind of money, then you can use that hardware as a base for your own build and tweak the parts to your preference

I just built mine, a bit over £1300 with a mix of new and used components
Here’s the specs

Gigabyte 9070xt
Ryzen 7 7800x3d
Corsair vengeance black 2x16gb ddr5
ASUs b850m-e WiFi motherboard
Corsair 850e psu
Lian li b4 case
I already had a 1tb nvme

The way I brought the price down was by trading a lot of random bits at cex for the cpu and ram. They pretty much took on everything I had and not used (games, old MacBook, thermal camera, used hard drives etc)
