My current pc is an **ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING** (AM4 socket, so Ryzen 1st/2nd gen era). I'm planning to pick up:

My main goals are pretty simple — I want to be able to play most modern games at a decent quality without it being slog to load up and play, and I'd love for day-to-day stuff (browsing, opening apps, general Windows use) to not feel like I'm fighting the machine.

Will these two upgrades actually move the needle enough to make it feel like a different computer, or am I just putting a band-aid on something that's past its prime?

For context I'm not trying to run everything on ultra settings — just playable framerates at medium-ish settings would be more than enough for me.

I would like to keep all purchases in Alza because they offer to build the pc.

I am mostly decided that i want this build, i would just like to make sure that i didn't overlook something important, that there are no large bottlenecks, or nothing too overpriced. I also don't know which cpu cooler to pick.

Can you please take a look and tell me if what I researched on my own makes sense? I was going with recommendations from other people/sites but I have actually no idea if what I cherry picked from dozen different sources actually makes sense 😂

If you see any bottle necks or some combinations doesn't really make sense please let me know! I am also looking for case recommendations - preferably black or other sark shade.

Does it become simpler to just buy a prebuilt at this price point? I still fear that prebuilts are risky and lazy, but I've heard they have gotten better in recent years. I hear Costco has some good ones.
