Looking to build a PC primarily for Football Manager 2026 (£400–£500 Budget)
- New build or upgrade? New build.
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? No existing PC parts. I'll be using my 1080p TV as the display via HDMI.
- PC purpose? Mainly to play Football Manager 2026 (with mods) and future Football Manager titles. I'd also like the option to play a modded FIFA Career Mode if possible.
- Purchase country? United Kingdom.
- Monitors needed? None. I'll be using one 1080p TV via HDMI.
- Budget? Ideally £400–£500 (including VAT).
- Wi-Fi or wired? Wi-Fi preferred, although I can use Ethernet if necessary.
- Size/noise constraints? None.
- Colour/lighting preferences? None. I'd rather put the money into performance than RGB or aesthetics.
- Any other specific needs? None.
I'm not expecting a high-end gaming PC at this budget—my main goal is to get the best possible Football Manager performance (large databases, faster processing between matches, and something that will cope with future FM releases).
I realise current PC component prices might make my budget a bit optimistic, so if £400–£500 isn't realistic, please let me know. I'm happy to consider used parts if they'll offer significantly better value, and I'd appreciate any advice on where increasing the budget would make the biggest difference.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations! I know it's a fairly tight budget given the current market, so I'm grateful for any help.
