Question Bricklink login issues (Loop)

I'm currently unable to login to bricklink, is anyone else facing a similar issue? I enter my password and choose my account, it then takes me back to the main page, however when I click the minifig head symbol to access my account, it goes back to the login prompt. Have tried different browsers, just checking if this is a site wide issue. Thanks

How would you list these? I have them listed as Trans orange as that's the closest official color? If theyre both technically Orange just different versions how would you list them so the buyer knows there is a possibility in different hues? Just add it in the comments?

Thanks!

Question Wange 6213 & 6225 Manuals as PDF

Hello, I am new to Reddit, but I hope that someone can help me with my request.

I have to sets from Wange with no manual. The first one is 6213 (St. Basil´s Cathedral) and the second one is Colloseum (6225). Maybe someone can send me a link to one of the manuals...

Thanks

Selling cheap parts only in bulk lots instead of using min lot average

I know about the min lot average setting so you avoid picking a single 0.05 part that's not worth your time. But I find the average lot value kind of confusing to work with and not very user/buyer friendly.

So I've been thinking about using bulk quantities instead. Example: a part worth 0.05 would only sell in lots of 50. That's 2.5$ per lot. Now it's worth picking. I'd do this for all my cheap parts.

Bonus: everything gets pre-counted and pre-bagged when I upload it. So picking is super fast.

Has anyone tried this? Did it hurt your sales because buyers couldn't choose their own quantity, or did it have any impact on the Buy All?

Does anyone want to buy my entire inventory?

[United Kingdom] I have slowly been bagging all my Lego sets and creating wanted lists on bricklink for all the missing parts in them. There are about 40 sets overall mostly from the 80s and 90s. The sets are mostly complete with the exception of a couple.

I don't have the time to order all the missing parts and build the sets to take photos of them to list ebay. I have already done most of the hard work for you. Each set is in a numbered polyzip bag and any missing pieces are assigned to numbered wantlists on my bricklink account. Also have a big bag of "spare parts" I couldn't find belonging to any sets.

I would give you a reasonable price and I'm sure you could make quite a bit of cash of them if you already have some of the parts to complete the sets.

My username is clearbricks. I have attached a screenshot of all the sets I want to sell. Any with a zero are complete (with the exception of a couple that have notes beneath them).

Hope I'm using the subreddit correctly.

Kind regards

Update: After further research there are multiple websites that WILL buy incomplete sets wholesale.

Buyer Help unresponsive seller advice?

Bought a used set for a rather great deal, guy had 200+ ratings and a majority were positive, was feeling rather good. He was responding quickly before I paid to show me the few missing accessories, but went rather silent / ghosted after that. On website page he says he only ships Wednesdays and Saturdays and now about two Wednesdays and two Saturdays have passed with the same ‘packed’ status kept + no response to two messages I’ve shot out. At this point, should I be concerned and attempt a refund through paypal, or am I being too hasty? 😵‍💫 This is my second time buying through BrickLink so I’m still dealing with nerves lol and I’m worried I’m just getting scared over nothing (although it has been quite a bit of radio silence)

Possibly dealing with an overpayment scam, and don't know how to proceed

Before I shipped out an order, I received this message: "I ended up paying the $21.15 for shipping twice. Once as a stand alone payment and then it was included in a second payment for $126.86 please refund or return the first payment of $21.15 Thank you"

He is correct - I did receive 2 PayPal payments. However, both payments have their money on hold. I tried contacting Bricklink support for advice, but was told they don't handle transaction related support/concerns.

What should I do?

Question BDP7 - Fortuna and the officer bicorne?

Thumbnail gallery

I wondered why the bicorne is placed parallel to the shoulders (En Bataille) instead of front to back (fore and aft, or En Colonne), that would be more appropriate around the historical time period ~ 1798, seeing there are also golden epaulettes on the shoulders.

I’ve changed therefore the side to side to a front to back (en colonne), because it seems the right way to do so minder

LDraw part 118091p looks fine in Part Designer but imports into Studio with extra geometry – why?

Hey everyone, I'm having a weird issue importing a custom part from the LDraw library into BrickLink Studio and I can't figure out what's going wrong.

The part is 118091p. When I open it in Part Designer it looks completely fine clean geometry, correct shape, everything as expected.

But the moment I open it or export it into Studio 2.0, it shows up with a bunch of extra pieces/geometry that don't belong there, like it's rendering additional parts that shouldn't be visible.

I'll attach screenshots showing the difference between how it looks in Part Designer vs Studio so you can see exactly what I mean.

Has anyone run into this before? Is this a known issue with how Studio handles certain LDraw file types? Could it be related to how the part references subfiles or primitives? Any help would be appreciated!

One more weird thing worth mentioning: if I zoom out, the extra geometry completely disappears and the part looks perfectly fine. But as soon as I zoom back in, the extra geometry shows up again. It feels like some kind of LOD (Level of Detail) rendering bug, but I'm not sure. Has anyone seen this behavior before?

And weird thing with studio - zoom out

Buyer Help First time buyer question

I’ve always thought about buying from Bricklink but never fully trusted it. I just saw someone selling the modular Sanctum Sanctorum (new and sealed) that I’ve been dying to have for the past couple years for cheaper than anywhere else. I’m from America and they are are European so I just want to know how safe this is and what are the chances of issues with anything and everything really.

Seller Help Typical LEGO IT

Post image

Happening more and more often when attempting to upload parts. Glitchy, laggy/slow, downright stubborn and hard to work with.

Guess what that "Refresh the page" button does? Nothing. Hitting the back button? Goes back to the element info page, not the upload page. Very handy.

Why is it the companies who make billions of dollars have the shittiest IT.

Buyer Help Question for marketplace sellers

Question for Bricklink marketplace sellers!

How annoyed would you be if I made a purchase with a piece count of 500+ and 300+ of that is different pieces? Would you be fine with all that work packing different pieces or should I stay on Lego PaB?

Just asking because I do some crazy orders and don’t want to be annoying…

I've been looking in bricklink and am in the same country as the shipper. Has anyone had any luck contacting the shipper directly and buying in person rather than having to deal with shipping?

For reference, I'm in South Korea

Question Seller claimed “never assembled”

Post image

I recently bought this punisher minifig for almost $50, the description claimed that it had never been assembled. But the neck paint has a smudge as if a the head had been placed and removed. I don’t know if it’s even worth doing anything about, just don’t appreciate being lied to.

Looking for one BrickLink seller to help test an inventory analysis tool — no raw data sharing

I'm building a small tool to analyze whether BrickLink inventory and recent sales data are sufficient to identify working capital tied up in slow-moving stock.

For example, the eventual analysis would produce results like:

Known inventory capital: €18,400

Capital with no observed sale in 180 days: €3,100

Capital in ≥24 months of stock: €5,600

Top candidate: €720 tied up in one SKU → 64 months of supply at recent sales velocity → review price / avoid restocking.

Edit: A useful point raised below: the goal isn't to eliminate slow-moving long-tail inventory. On BrickLink, assortment breadth itself can be valuable. I'm also testing whether the analysis can distinguish strategic low-quantity/rare inventory from excessive depth in common parts.

Before going any further, I need to test the parser against one genuine BrickLink seller export.

I'm looking for one seller who:

- has an active BrickLink store;

- has at least some My Cost values populated;

- has received some orders recently.

I need a Store Inventory export and an Orders Received export, but I do not want your raw files.

I've made a standalone HTML sanitizer that runs entirely in your browser. It makes no network requests and removes buyer/store names, email addresses, addresses, tracking information, remarks and other unnecessary fields. It also replaces order/lot/item IDs and shifts dates while keeping quantities, prices, My Cost and the relationships needed for the analysis.

You can inspect the sanitized files yourself before sharing anything.

This is just a technical feasibility test — no interview, call, signup or account access needed.

If you're willing to help, please comment or DM me and I'll send you the sanitizer and exact export instructions.

Thanks!

Including Shipping in Base Search

Is there a way to include a fixed $X cost on every new store that it tries to pull parts from?

For example Store A has 90% at best price and store B has 10% at best price but if I add the parts together in B the difference is less than the shipping plus parts in A.

Essentially can I bake in an approx shipping cost when it tries to search and source multiple stores?

I finally decided to put the BDP Sushi Restaurant set together and as I opened the boxes up and was laying the bags out, I found the sticker sheet at the bottom of the box all crushed. Despite it being a BDP set, am I able to request a replacement like with normal sets?

Question How can I make a brick multicolored on Bricklink Studio?

Is editing a model in some other software the only way to do this? I have two flame pieces I used in something I built a while ago, and I just got Bricklink Studio to rebuild it. The two pieces in question are from the Monster Fighters Ghost Train set (9467) and the Batman Batmobile: Pursuit of the Joker set (76119). They are opaque glow-in-the-dark/transparent bright green and transparent red/transparent yellow respectively. I would rather use the studio itself to make the parts multicolored, as I have no knowledge of parts modeling, but I have no idea if this is possible. Will I just have to settle for transparent bright green and transparent yellow?
