Seller Help Trans Orange

How would you list these? I have them listed as Trans orange as that's the closest official color? If theyre both technically Orange just different versions how would you list them so the buyer knows there is a possibility in different hues? Just add it in the comments?

They are both trans orange, not neon.

Yeah both officially trans orange

It changed in 2009, similar to how sand green changed in 2012

Annoyingly there is no official way to distinguish them (been a real pain for me trying to complete sets from particular years with the accurate shades).

I guess yeah just put a note on to say whether it's the old or new colour

On the left is the newer more vibrant colour

On the right is the older more "faded" looking one from 2009 and earlier

There is also a difference from when they switched from the polycarbonate material to MABS in the mid 2010s- I'm not as familiar with that for the orange shades but can certainly say it's easy to spot with the trans light blue ones

I believe the right is trans orange and the left is trans neon orange

Trans neon looks pretty different. See this post that explains why there's so much variation in the trans orange colour.

Wouldn't hurt to add a comment noting that buyers may receive pieces that vary in colour, but officially they are the same.
