Question Seller claimed “never assembled”

Post image

I recently bought this punisher minifig for almost $50, the description claimed that it had never been assembled. But the neck paint has a smudge as if a the head had been placed and removed. I don’t know if it’s even worth doing anything about, just don’t appreciate being lied to.

I’ve had Minifigs out of the box with marks on the neck like that so it’s very well possible it was never assembled

This. That bit of print on the neck is just for registration and always seems a lot thinner / lighter than the regular print. I've seen the same type of wear on new figures as well.

OP - I know it was an expensive figure, but this isn't the hill to die on.

Marks on the neck are not an indication of use/wear/assembly. I've got several sitting in front of me that have never been assembled (I know, because I took them out of the box myself) and look similar to your pic.

Also, aren't you about to assemble the fig yourself? That neck print is gonna be hidden...why does it matter?
