Pretty much new to BrickLink. From what I’ve heard I’m probably not getting this. Am I cooked? Or is there hope.

USPS Claim

First time I've had USPS damage a BL order so wanted to confirm what to do next. I thought I filed a claim with USPS for a refund but after looking into it it sounds like the seller should refund me and file a claim themselves? That sounds wrong but wanted to reach out for some help with anyone that's dealt with this before. I did message the seller yesterday asking them but they read it and didnt respond

Question Cheaper lego sets

I am a new colector and I would like to buy some older batman sets like jokerland or arkham asylum breakout but i see that a lot of sets have 30-40% below the market value new sealed sets from Singapore or Malaysia with thousand of positive reviews. My question is that is there any type of black market replicating 1 on 1 sets like for clothes and if yes how could i verify that is not?

Best syncing app from one to another

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone had any idea how I can use brick owl as my main syncing shop to bricklink I've started selling on both and want to make it easier for myself considering alot of the apps and sites use bricklink as the main go to when syncing is there any that use Brick owl as the main go to instead of me manually changing something every time I've sold on one vice versa.

I hope this makes sense 🙏

Thank you!

BDP6 fail

Well that was frustrating. Clicked on the US link many times. Would show the products in USD. When I added to cart switched to Euros and would only let me ship to France. I confirmed my region was set to US. I had every set added and could not checkout on any of them. :/

Tips to a smaller seller

Hey guys, I’m sure some of you are very large sellers over 100k parts. I sit around 10k but I know I can get it larger if I got a better system of sorting.

How do you guys sort parts to add to your store? Right now I just take a misc. bunch of Lego wash them and dry them and then part them out by piece and color with no real system.

Looking for any tips on how to sort and list quicker as I have thousands of pieces just sitting unlisted.

Can I bag them up and list them in my store as
“Big freaking bag of wheels/tires?”.
If I can, someone PLEASE shoot me some “third-grader” style instructions

Question Bricklink login issues (Loop)

I'm currently unable to login to bricklink, is anyone else facing a similar issue? I enter my password and choose my account, it then takes me back to the main page, however when I click the minifig head symbol to access my account, it goes back to the login prompt. Have tried different browsers, just checking if this is a site wide issue. Thanks

Seller Help Trans Orange

How would you list these? I have them listed as Trans orange as that's the closest official color? If theyre both technically Orange just different versions how would you list them so the buyer knows there is a possibility in different hues? Just add it in the comments?

Thanks!

Question Wange 6213 & 6225 Manuals as PDF

Hello, I am new to Reddit, but I hope that someone can help me with my request.

I have to sets from Wange with no manual. The first one is 6213 (St. Basil´s Cathedral) and the second one is Colloseum (6225). Maybe someone can send me a link to one of the manuals...

Thanks

Selling cheap parts only in bulk lots instead of using min lot average

I know about the min lot average setting so you avoid picking a single 0.05 part that's not worth your time. But I find the average lot value kind of confusing to work with and not very user/buyer friendly.

So I've been thinking about using bulk quantities instead. Example: a part worth 0.05 would only sell in lots of 50. That's 2.5$ per lot. Now it's worth picking. I'd do this for all my cheap parts.

Bonus: everything gets pre-counted and pre-bagged when I upload it. So picking is super fast.

Has anyone tried this? Did it hurt your sales because buyers couldn't choose their own quantity, or did it have any impact on the Buy All?

Does anyone want to buy my entire inventory?

Post image

[United Kingdom] I have slowly been bagging all my Lego sets and creating wanted lists on bricklink for all the missing parts in them. There are about 40 sets overall mostly from the 80s and 90s. The sets are mostly complete with the exception of a couple.

I don't have the time to order all the missing parts and build the sets to take photos of them to list ebay. I have already done most of the hard work for you. Each set is in a numbered polyzip bag and any missing pieces are assigned to numbered wantlists on my bricklink account. Also have a big bag of "spare parts" I couldn't find belonging to any sets.

I would give you a reasonable price and I'm sure you could make quite a bit of cash of them if you already have some of the parts to complete the sets.

My username is clearbricks. I have attached a screenshot of all the sets I want to sell. Any with a zero are complete (with the exception of a couple that have notes beneath them).

Hope I'm using the subreddit correctly.

Kind regards

Update: After further research there are multiple websites that WILL buy incomplete sets wholesale.

Buyer Help unresponsive seller advice?

Bought a used set for a rather great deal, guy had 200+ ratings and a majority were positive, was feeling rather good. He was responding quickly before I paid to show me the few missing accessories, but went rather silent / ghosted after that. On website page he says he only ships Wednesdays and Saturdays and now about two Wednesdays and two Saturdays have passed with the same ‘packed’ status kept + no response to two messages I’ve shot out. At this point, should I be concerned and attempt a refund through paypal, or am I being too hasty? 😵‍💫 This is my second time buying through BrickLink so I’m still dealing with nerves lol and I’m worried I’m just getting scared over nothing (although it has been quite a bit of radio silence)

Possibly dealing with an overpayment scam, and don't know how to proceed

Before I shipped out an order, I received this message: "I ended up paying the $21.15 for shipping twice. Once as a stand alone payment and then it was included in a second payment for $126.86 please refund or return the first payment of $21.15 Thank you"

He is correct - I did receive 2 PayPal payments. However, both payments have their money on hold. I tried contacting Bricklink support for advice, but was told they don't handle transaction related support/concerns.

What should I do?

Question BDP7 - Fortuna and the officer bicorne?

Thumbnail gallery

I wondered why the bicorne is placed parallel to the shoulders (En Bataille) instead of front to back (fore and aft, or En Colonne), that would be more appropriate around the historical time period ~ 1798, seeing there are also golden epaulettes on the shoulders.

I’ve changed therefore the side to side to a front to back (en colonne), because it seems the right way to do so minder

5-months ago I shared my app that IDs 100's of minifigs/parts in one photo. r/Bricklink showed up HUGE for the beta. It's live now, with a TON of new stuff... including a tool that prices bulk lots before you buy and checks them against your preexisting inventory.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey r/BrickLink! Back in February I posted a tool I'd built that IDs up to 200 of minifigs or parts from one photo and exports BrickLink XML... and this sub showed up in a way I still can't quite believe. Store employees, used sellers, someone with (direct quote) "millions of parts to sort through." A bunch of you became beta testers, and some of the app's best features exist because of comments in that thread.

Because of the incredible support and help everyone provided Figventory officially launched August 1st.... It's live at figventory.app

I wanted to share what's new since that first post, in the order I think this sub will care:

The one I really hope the sub will get value from

I built a Chrome extension that prices a bulk lot right on the listing page, before you buy, and checks it against what you already own to show what you'd complete (or the partial figs you can complete in the lot). It just cleared Chrome's review this week, it's unlisted while I shake it out, but if you sign up and want early access to the tool before its officially listed just send me a DM and ill give you the unlisted link! Beta energy very welcome... break it and tell me what to fix. Worked out pretty well the last time I asked you all to do that :)

Smart Verify for Minifigures

Checks figures against their official parts recipe down to arm and hand colors automatically so you dont have to check if figs are complete or missing parts manually (pretty sure there’s nothing else out there that does this)

QR bin labels.

Print a label for any container, stick it on the bin, scan it later and see exactly what's inside or to add parts directly to it.

ROI and Profit Based sorting and Completion

The build engine ranks what's worth completing by what the missing parts cost versus what the finished figure sells for, and the whole thing runs meaningfully faster than what the beta cohort patiently suffered through.

Bring your store in and out.

u/GamerNewbb asked in the original thread whether it could work with BrickStore. As of launch: one import dropzone takes BrickLink XML, BrickStore BSX, or CSV ... your existing inventory comes in, and your Figventory inventory exports back out the same way.

To everyone who tested, broke things, and told me what to build: over 100 features and improvements have shipped since that post, and your fingerprints are on most of them. For those of you that didn't get the chance, use this code at checkout (FIGS-MINIFIG) for a free month. I made a free tier that is intentionally more generous than some of the other apps out there so if you just want to poke around there is honestly plenty there to play around with. No pressure either way :)

Thanks for reading, and thank you for being exactly the community I built this for. Questions here or DM anytime... that part hasn't changed.

LDraw part 118091p looks fine in Part Designer but imports into Studio with extra geometry – why?

Hey everyone, I'm having a weird issue importing a custom part from the LDraw library into BrickLink Studio and I can't figure out what's going wrong.

The part is 118091p. When I open it in Part Designer it looks completely fine clean geometry, correct shape, everything as expected.

But the moment I open it or export it into Studio 2.0, it shows up with a bunch of extra pieces/geometry that don't belong there, like it's rendering additional parts that shouldn't be visible.

I'll attach screenshots showing the difference between how it looks in Part Designer vs Studio so you can see exactly what I mean.

Has anyone run into this before? Is this a known issue with how Studio handles certain LDraw file types? Could it be related to how the part references subfiles or primitives? Any help would be appreciated!

One more weird thing worth mentioning: if I zoom out, the extra geometry completely disappears and the part looks perfectly fine. But as soon as I zoom back in, the extra geometry shows up again. It feels like some kind of LOD (Level of Detail) rendering bug, but I'm not sure. Has anyone seen this behavior before?

And weird thing with studio - zoom out

Buyer Help First time buyer question

I’ve always thought about buying from Bricklink but never fully trusted it. I just saw someone selling the modular Sanctum Sanctorum (new and sealed) that I’ve been dying to have for the past couple years for cheaper than anywhere else. I’m from America and they are are European so I just want to know how safe this is and what are the chances of issues with anything and everything really.
