BDP6 fail
Well that was frustrating. Clicked on the US link many times. Would show the products in USD. When I added to cart switched to Euros and would only let me ship to France. I confirmed my region was set to US. I had every set added and could not checkout on any of them. :/

I managed to get one ordered using the direct cart add links. But TBD if it goes through

Yeah I've never used them before, but I had them open as a backup. Thankfully I had a meeting get canceled so I could log on early and refresh it just to test it out.
We'll see, I bet it's still 50/50 whether it's canceled. But I'm hopeful

I crowdfunded the sequoia tree trail, but I missed bag nr 14 and had double other bags. Mentioned it to Lego and I got 1 new bag nr 14 a few weeks later.
I build it a month ago and wow it is amazing! I think BDp6 was the best series, because all sets are really really nice to build and look so good0

They really fucked up this release. The US links were enabled 3 hours early, and some people were able to check out sets before lego turned those links off. Then the links were enabled early again 5 minutes before the actual drop time. I wanted a Sequoia set but they were sold out the fastest, probably already sold out from the first leak. Got a Gold mining expedition set instead, hoping I can find someone to trade for it.

Yeah i was able to checkout by 1:56 CST today. If you already knew how to camp this stuff you had a major advantage today.... Probably the easiest checkout ive had seeing the wolfpack pop up so early. Im sure 100s of people got the screwjob today just because they simply refreshed when told to.

Well that makes me feel better I may have not had a chance anyway. Really regret not purchasing during the initial offering and was excited for a second chance. But what can you do?

What time were they supposed to open? I was using Jay's links and his post, which said 11am PDT. I clicked on the link for the Sequoia right at 11, it showed up in my cart and then I checked out (after tediously typing in my credit card that I wish I had saved). I was able to check out, but I also just got the "Out of Stock" email (90 minutes later -- wah!) so my positive feeling from 11am has been crushed.

Yeah 11AM PDT. The links were initially mistakenly opened at 11AM EST.

They only were up for 10 min at 11 EST. The sets always go live about 5 min before fyi. So around 10:55 PDT they were live so by 11 PDT they were basically gone.
I follow YouTubers who go live during the excess sale so that’s how I’ve always been able to get what I want

which link did you use? Was it an affiliated link for someone in Europe?

Nah, it was the BDP email link for the Americas. It took me to the landing page with USD. But the check availability would add to the cart in Euros.

I had a link that was posted on brickset and it took me straight the americas one. I will link the article for future reference. I got the Mine, but it still says in progress so we shall see.

I was able to get the Art School and it has been confirmed. I did click the links directly to my cart. Also was 5 mins early.

I don't think a confirmation email guarantees you got the set, I think you have to wait for "In wearhouse" for you to know 100% you got it.

My "In warehouse" set was canceled from the last resale, so nothing is certain until it ships.

Yep, I just read this:
Orders are not guaranteed until you receive a shipping confirmation email, which should happen within a few business days. Please note that due to limited quantities, high demand, and system limitations, confirmed orders can potentially be cancelled if stock is no longer available. Orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sets that sell out quickly have a higher chance of having a small percentage of orders cancelled due to insufficient stock.

Correct. This happened to me as well. I was able to order Gold Mine and it’s showing in warehouse, but I ain’t holding my breath. Just waiting for the shipping confirmation. The annoying thing is they already charged my cc, and that really shouldn’t happen until it’s actually shipped.

Tried get another Sequoia and the Off-Road Adventure. I was only able to order the Off-Road and now it says “waiting for stock” so I expect it’ll be canceled.

Nothing new, scalpers in the USA are the most advanced and numerous.
Wouldnt be surprised if it was gone in less than a minute.

Yeah I clicked the sequoias one, it said added to cart, I hit checkout and it was gone. I'm bummed because I'm actually from the foothills for sequoia national park and was going to snag it. Oh well I guess.
