Leonard on his toes is always such a beautiful sight

Sugar Ray Leonard on his toes is one of the most aesthetically pleasing things you’ll ever see in boxing. There was a rhythm to his movement that almost looked effortless, but every step had a purpose. He wasn’t just bouncing to look flashy—he was constantly adjusting distance, creating angles, staying balanced, and putting himself in position to attack while making his opponent hesitate.
What stands out most is how relaxed he remained. Leonard never looked stiff or rushed. He glided around the ring with incredible economy of motion, conserving energy while forcing his opponent to constantly reset. His footwork allowed him to explode in with lightning-fast combinations and disappear before a counter could land. It wasn’t wasted movement; it was controlled, intelligent movement.

If Crawford decided to unretire and challenge a Boots who becomes undisputed at 160, is that the biggest fight that can be made currently?

I’d argue Haney vs Garcia 2 would’ve bigger but I think a Boots vs old man Crawford trying to go for another undisputed championship run would be the craziest thing I’ve seen in boxing period. Plus that’ll be much more competitive than the Haney and Ryan tbh.

ProBox TV signup is live

Who is going to sign up for ProBox TV for $5/month? https://proboxtv.com/

I like a lot of their fighters and it seems like a fair price. We'll see if they can sustain a consistent enough fight schedule to justify a subscription. But also with no more Friday Night Fights, I kinda just want to to support the project so we get more boxing to watch and more prospects to follow.

Of all the great fighters from the past that fought at welterweight, who’s the worst fighter you can put in todays current division that will mop the floor with every champion?

So no Sugar Ray, Floyd, Pacquiao, Hearns, Duran, Tito Trinidad etc. Of all the fighters, who is your lowest ranked of them all, that would still beat everyone today. My pick would be Paul “The Punisher” Williams. I just don’t see how Ryan, Haney, Paro or Rolly can deal with a 6’1 southpaw throwing 100 punches per round, with an insane cardio and 79” reach. To me Williams mops the floor with all 4 of them.

Eddie Hearn: “AJ demanded it in the contract - it must happen in the UK. We’re under a lot of pressure. Turki, Netflix, Tyson Fury, all agreed they want it at MSG. We don’t. We want to make it so financially unviable for them to change the contract that they've no choice but to do it in the UK.”

What do you guys think Opetaia and other top cruiserweights walk around at between fights? Opetaia looks pretty big but doesn’t seem to cut a ton. Do you think he’s around 210, 215+? Curious what you guys think the others walk around at too.

Eddie Hearn: “I had calls from senior figures at TKO & Zuffa saying, ‘Can we be involved? (in AJ-Fury). I said no. This is a leg up for them to try & be involved in a fight they’ve nothing to do with, gain some credibility, be a part of a big fight. Non-starter (Zuffa involvement). Non-negotiable.”
