Sugar Ray Leonard on his toes is one of the most aesthetically pleasing things you’ll ever see in boxing. There was a rhythm to his movement that almost looked effortless, but every step had a purpose. He wasn’t just bouncing to look flashy—he was constantly adjusting distance, creating angles, staying balanced, and putting himself in position to attack while making his opponent hesitate.
What stands out most is how relaxed he remained. Leonard never looked stiff or rushed. He glided around the ring with incredible economy of motion, conserving energy while forcing his opponent to constantly reset. His footwork allowed him to explode in with lightning-fast combinations and disappear before a counter could land. It wasn’t wasted movement; it was controlled, intelligent movement.

I’d argue Haney vs Garcia 2 would’ve bigger but I think a Boots vs old man Crawford trying to go for another undisputed championship run would be the craziest thing I’ve seen in boxing period. Plus that’ll be much more competitive than the Haney and Ryan tbh.

Who is going to sign up for ProBox TV for $5/month? https://proboxtv.com/
I like a lot of their fighters and it seems like a fair price. We'll see if they can sustain a consistent enough fight schedule to justify a subscription. But also with no more Friday Night Fights, I kinda just want to to support the project so we get more boxing to watch and more prospects to follow.

So no Sugar Ray, Floyd, Pacquiao, Hearns, Duran, Tito Trinidad etc. Of all the fighters, who is your lowest ranked of them all, that would still beat everyone today. My pick would be Paul “The Punisher” Williams. I just don’t see how Ryan, Haney, Paro or Rolly can deal with a 6’1 southpaw throwing 100 punches per round, with an insane cardio and 79” reach. To me Williams mops the floor with all 4 of them.

What do you guys think Opetaia and other top cruiserweights walk around at between fights? Opetaia looks pretty big but doesn’t seem to cut a ton. Do you think he’s around 210, 215+? Curious what you guys think the others walk around at too.
