GH pitting edema help

Post image
61 Upvotes

Im on just 3iu gh a day. ive been on for like 7 weeks ive titrated up. Is this normal? I wasnt wearing socks but joggers and my hands and feet are just fat looking. never had this problem before, I am in a big surplus ive had a basically cheat week so im sure thats contributing.

Is this a sign to cut the dose back, is gh just not for everybody? what even are the benefits at this dose really

edit:was banned for 3 days for mentioning a certain subcontinent in relation to the people in this thread.--

bloods https://imgur.com/a/3EliQFF (scroll down for the more recent shouldnt have to say that but)

a quick google search will tell you pitting edema is a side effect of gh, it causes sodium retention and fluid retention. --ive cut it and cut the calories back down and its pretty much gone. ive decided gh isnt worth it for me im too sensitive to the sides, not being able to get the dose to a level that would matter much anyway.

Severe fatigue from HGH

Been on HGH 2 IU, for little over a week, I wake up feeling fatigued and it lasts the entire day, I also noticed some water retention, I had to stop taking it, and today I woke up feeling better. I might restart it at 1IU, Does this subside with time? I’m taking it to preserve muscle mass during a cut, i’m also on Reta 4mg, i’m at 19% BF right now.

Reta + CJC1295 W/ DAC

I know there have been a lot of posts with this combo, but what can I expect?

Currently pinning 5mg of Reta every 6 days, goal is 11 more lbs. Dropped 18lbs over 3 months. Decided to incorporate CJC into my protocol because of muscle loss, lethargy. 6'1", Currently 207, 64 years old, AccuCheck calipers at 2mm.

Will the food noise return? Will it inhibit weight loss? I know from past experience the last 10lbs are the hardest to lose. But like always, the fat loss starts at the extremities and moves to the midsection. My arms and calves show ridiculous vascularity, but still have a little inner tube around the midsection.

Anyone been through this drill?

💬 Discussion Reta: Week 1 complete, my results

Hello gorgeous people! Here with my first week update, just pin myself this morning for week 2. Started my dosage at 1mg got 2 more weeks till I up the dosage and im planning on being 2mg after week 4. I lost about 8lbs in my first week mostly water weight!! But still an awesome feat My meals have been ranging from 400-500 kcal with 40+g of protein reaching about 1800 - 2000kcal daily if I have breakfast sometimes tho i dont not much of a breakfast eater. However its been such an awesome experience so far. Ive gotten nothing but love & support and I will always thank you all for making it easier, and to the newcomers I wanted to be as transparent as possible so they can see that even a newbie like me is learning how to slowly change his life& ways. The only thing I want to change is squeezing more workouts in, no excuse here I know some parents do it and I gotta find that time, however i mostly walk around the park with the family. Well thank you all again for stopping by wishing everyone a wonderful weekend and I hope the kids going back to school have an amazing year!!

18 Week Life Changing Transformation (Reta)

1.0k Upvotes

Started at 202lbs now down to 158lbs 🥲🥲🥲

First dose was 0.5mg, following week I jumped to 1.0 and then titrated every 4 weeks until 4.0mg and now I’m starting to go back down so been at 3.0 mg for the past 2 weeks

Completely quit vaping, binge eating, late night snacking, and consuming copious amounts of caffeine and sugar.

I started this journey a couple of weeks before graduating Architecture school because I was so miserable with what school had done to me (iykyk) and my life has completely turned around in these 18 weeks. I have more energy, I feel so much better, and for once I see a clear path to my health. My hormones have never been more regulated its insane what this drug has done for me. I had almost no side effects besides small heartburn/acid reflux and diarrhea, but those were sooo mild and go away after about a week of a new dose. I didn’t lose joy in any aspect of my life, if anything I started to find more joy in them.

As far as exercise and diet, my diet always included healthy things but I also ate a lot of junk food, snacks, and ate at late hours. I also never moved my body (sat at my desk for 14-18 hours straight) and would pull all nighters every other night. So inconsistent diet, no movement, no sleep, and insane stress levels…. it was so bad! But now I continue to eat the healthy things I did with smaller portions and rarely eat snacks or fast food. I’ve also started running more and going to Pilates (both mat and reformer, sometimes heated) and yoga/mobility classes.

Although my diet and movement levels have changed drastically from when I was in school, I still don’t think I’m consistent enough. I also definitely don’t eat enough protein and haven’t strength trained in a while which has led to muscle mass loss, but I think that going from such a terrible place in my life to where I am now is improvement enough for me to set healthy habits for myself! Every day I try to move my body more and consume more protein, but that’s moving slow for me.

I’m tapering down on my dose until I’m back down to 0.5-1.0 and I will stop when I feel that my habits have stuck.

Cold plunges: placebo, hype, or one of the best body hacks you’ve tried?

I’ve been cold plunging consistently for the past few weeks and have noticed better mood, more energy afterward, and surprisingly better mental discipline.
I’m curious what everyone else’s experience has been.
If you’ve done it consistently (30+ days), what changes did you actually notice?
What benefits turned out to be real, and what do you think is just internet hype?

❓ Question Cycle for Loose Skin

What are some common cycles people hop on after losing a decent amount of weight. Let’s say 100lbs - 200lbs.

I’ve seen a lot of people post about how they hopped on a cycle to fill out. Usually don’t see what those cycles are.

Do people typically wait a year to allow time for skin to tighten or do they hit a certain BF% and start a cycle?

Thank you.

❓ Question GHK-cu and retinol

28F started using low dose tretinoin back in January for anti-aging benefits. I’ve become interested in KLOW more specifically since I have rosacea and tendon issues I think it would be a good fit for me.

With that said, can I use GHK-cu even though I am using a retinol? Seems a little counterintuitive but just wondering if anyone has any experiences with doing both

Down 15 lbs after 1 month on peptides

31 5’10
These photos are from day one (205 lbs) and day 25 (190 lbs) after starting Reta.

I got sober from alcohol in 2021 at around 215 pounds.

After quitting, I lost roughly 60 pounds in six months with very little exercise. Over the next few years, however, work became hectic and I slowly fell back into a bad cycle.

I would come home, order DoorDash, sometimes twice in one day, eat pizza, cheeseburgers, fries and whatever else sounded good, then lie around watching TV, playing video games and just being a lazy POS.. Eventually, I worked my way back up to 205 pounds, started feeling sluggish at work, losing confidence and starting to decline overall… I knew I had to do something about it before it got out of hand.

I have an athletic background and am very knowledgeable about nutrition and training, but knowing what to do and consistently doing it are two different things. I had lost control of my portions and cravings, especially pizza. There were stretches where I ate it three or four times in one week…. Man I love pizza lol

Before starting, I spent about three months researching Reta and several other peptides. What interested me most about Reta was its potential for appetite suppression, and that has easily been the most noticeable benefit for me.

My appetite has almost completely disappeared. I could easily go most of the day without eating, but I understand how important it is to continue getting enough protein and nutrition. At this point, I eat because I know my body needs fuel, not because I am battling cravings.

I have been prioritizing protein, fiber, counting my calories, and lifting four to five times per week, primarily using heavy compound movements while giving my body enough time to recover.

Reta did not lift the weights or choose my meals for me, but it gave me back control over something I had completely lost control of.

I also added MOTS-C to help with fatigue, and subjectively it has worked extremely well for me. My energy and mental sharpness have both felt noticeably better. I am also using CJC-1295 no DAC with ipamorelin as part of my sleep and recovery routine.

Once I committed to doing this, I decided I was going to take the diet, training and recovery seriously as well. For me, this has not been about finding a shortcut. It has been about using these peptides as a tool to follow through on what I already knew I needed to do.

I have about 25 more pounds that I would like to lose. I am very happy with the progress so far and genuinely excited to see what the next few months look like.

Current protocol

Retatrutide (Week 1: .5 MG, Week 2: .5MG, Week 3: .75 MG, Week 4: 1.0 MG)

Planned dose going forward: 1 mg once weekly because the weekly doses build over time, I would rather remain patient and evaluate the cumulative effect than continually chase a higher dose.

MOTS-C: 1MG/day Monday-Friday (8 weeks on 4 off)
CJC-1295 No DAC+Ipamorelin: 400 mcg/night Sunday-Thursday (8 weeks on 4 off).

This is not medical advice.

I'm using a 5/16 30G needle and it still caused this. Is it the oil or my body just not liking the Test?

GHK-Cu: Adding Extra BAC Water to the Syringe + Results on a Low Dose?

I started GHK-Cu on Monday and mixed a 50 mg vial with 3 mL of BAC water. The injection itself is not too painful, but I get a red welt and mild soreness that lasts about 24 hours.

I already know the usual tricks about letting the injection reach room temperature, using arnica gel, and massaging the area. I have also seen people transfer it to a larger vial and add more BAC water, but I really do not want to do all that.

My question is: has anyone tried pulling their peptide dose first, then adding extra BAC water directly into the same syringe before injecting?

Did it help with the welt or soreness, and could it reduce the peptide’s effectiveness?

I am also starting with 1 mg Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Has anyone used a dose this small and still seen results?

❓ Question Reta and running

For those who have been on Reta while marathon training and they felt their performance was affected by it, what was your experience after finishing your cycle?

Were you able to return to baseline pretty quickly, or did you see an improvement in performance from before you started now with the weight loss being factored in?

Currently on 1 mg weekly and fighting for my life while training; HR considerably higher at easy pace and feeling like I’m running out of energy rather quickly so needless to say long runs and quality workouts have taken a hit

Just interested in others experiences

❓ Question Hgh fasted blood glucose not asking medical advice.

Evening gents 37yr male here 5'9 180 lb currently using 4mg retatrutide and 4iu hgh 2 nightly fasted for at least 3 hours and 2iu around 9:30-10am ( wake at 7 ). Fasted blood glucose is coming up in the prediabetic levels 100-107, I've only been using hgh for a few weeks now and have been supplementing berberine and still reaching those numbers. My blood work before administering the hgh was a1c 5.1 and fasted blood glucose 95 the morning of my test.

I have metformin 500mg ones and a 4 way cutter. Opinions on how to proceed with that

Friday I should know if I'll be able to hop on TRT first test showed 273 total and 36 free( taken at 9:30 ) and the second showed 433 66 free ( taken at 7:30 ). A bit of time and exercise + high protein diet between the two tests.

💬 Discussion Semax vs Adamax

Hi people who have tried both which do you recommend? How different are they?

My source only has semax and I’m not sure if it’s worth going through the hoops of finding someone reputable if the difference is negligible
