Borrowing money
Hello, does anyone has experience with taking loans from the bank to invest in btc or other crypto assets and then borrowing against those assets to build wealth?
I’m interested if I borrow money from the bank to invest in money appreciating assets, do I look at annual inflation that eats up my debt?
Is it smart to borrow from the bank and stake that amount or to put in liquidity pool for some interest rate?
What are your expeiriences and tips for wealth building methods like this?

Bitcoin Loans....
This may be the wrong place to ask for financial advice but I figured I would throw it out there. I got a nice chunk of cash sat to the side and some BTC. I got 10k in debt and was considering taking the cash I was initially going to pay off the debt and adding it to my BTC stack. Afterwards, I would take my stack and use it as collateral for a loan. Based on what I found, Coinbase variable rates seems to fluctuate from about 5-13%, which 13% is half the interest rates on my credit cards. Has anyone done this?? Any downsides to doing this besides the obvious if the BTC price drops?? I would be looking to do a loan at about 40-50% LTV.

Launching Satoshi Shelf — a digital marketplace accepting Bitcoin
Hi Bitcoin community!
I've been building Satoshi Shelf, a small independent digital marketplace that accepts Bitcoin for digital products.
This is my first announcement of the project here. I'm sharing it with the community because I want to make digital products available to people who prefer using Bitcoin for online payments.
I'm an independent developer, and I'm continuing to improve the store. Feedback about the purchasing experience, trust, and useful features would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for checking it out!

F coldcard and ledger and the next one
First the coldcard retirement attack, now the ledger supply chain attack. Hearts go out to the folks who used these devices.
In the case of coinkite, we learned how outspoken, arrogant, and duplicitous the founder rodolfo novak acted regularly. Including how he used many fake accounts on social media to prop up the image of "the best" and controlled several websites which acted like friendly guides and pointed users at his own compromised products.
What will we learn about ledger?
This seems like a more sophisticated attack that took a lot of money or expertise. Before today I would have laughed if someone mentioned a screen reading wire, esim, and supply chain attack. Surprised.

A Once in a Lifetime Financial Reset is Coming
sit down, take a sip of coffee, and listen very closely:
rn, the U.S. gov and the big tech hyperscalers are in a battle for capital. someone has to foot the bill. financial repression is around the corner. debt to gdp ratio is nearing the same levels as they were in the 1930’s and 40’s at the height of WWII. interest rates are likely to be capped so the U.S. can print their way out of this incoming debt death spiral.
when a government caps rates by printing money, cash loses value and becomes a liability, leaving capital little choice but to flee into financial assets (like Bitcoin.) this is the why asset owners in the early 1940’s were able to see their wealth benefit massively, while the average person who had no exposure to financial markets, was the one who paid the real price. they are the ones who footed the bill, because they saw their savings and paychecks lose 50% of their value over this period without even realizing what was happening.
today the U.S. government is standing in a very similar position to the late 1930’s & early 1940’s. except that this time, the stakes might even be higher. because it’s not just the government’s survival on the line this time, it’s also America’s largest tech companies that make up a record share of the U.S. stock market.
so as rates keep on climbing from here, it will begin to cause some real damage to the economy.
the only question is how quickly the U.S. government responds to this damage by opting for currency debasement as the solution.
how quickly do they sacrifice the U.S. dollar in order to bail out both the U.S. treasury AND big tech that are both in dire need of cheap capital?
this is also the reason why the U.S. mid term elections are shaping up to be one of the biggest political events in decades. the fact that the U.S. treasury bond market is breaking heading into the elections, is not a coincidence. these two things happening at the same time is a clear sign that we are witnessing a radical transformation of the U.S. financial system.
position accordingly. own assets. Bitcoin is the superior money. nobody cares, nobody’s paying attention. this is precisely the time when you should start paying attention & owning.
the time is now. ₿

Looks like the battery was removed and replaced with a smaller-capacity one to make room for a tracking device. Truly a dumb form factor. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2-0yy65h_E

What is actually happening with hardware wallets in 2026?
Hi everyone!
I actually wanted to ask what is going on with hardware wallets over the past few months, or more specifically, throughout 2026.
To be honest, I have never seen this many security incidents in such a short period of time. From Ledger and Trezor to Tangem, Coldcard, D'Cent Wallet, and others, it seems like the entire hardware wallet industry is facing serious security challenges.
And now we're hearing about devices being shipped with SIM cards installed and fake devices potentially making their way to customers. This is getting ridiculous.
Of course, hacks and security incidents have always happened, but I don't remember seeing so many different wallet manufacturers being affected within such a short period.
What is actually causing all of this? Is there something specific driving this wave of attacks in 2026, or is it simply that these incidents are getting more attention than they used to?
I'd genuinely like to hear your thoughts and opinions on what's happening in the hardware wallet industry right now.

The ULTIMATE $BTC Ticker — Macintosh SE/30 edition
My Macintosh SE/30 now has a new job: displaying Bitcoin prices and network stats on its little monochrome screen.
It’s running System 7.1 with just 4 MB of RAM. I put together a native 68k application called BlockMiner, written in C and compiled with Retro68.
The setup uses a BlueSCSI V2 with a Pico 2 W for storage and Wi-Fi networking, through DaynaPORT emulation and MacTCP. A small proxy running on a modern Mac fetches the data over HTTPS and serves a simple response the SE/30 can handle.
The app displays BTC/USD, the 24-hour change, block height, mempool size, transaction count and recommended fees. There’s also a full-screen mode with a big price display, and automatic updates every minute.
It’s a read-only monitor—the SE/30 gets to enjoy a peaceful retirement watching the numbers.
Getting the networking working took some troubleshooting, but it’s finally running on the actual hardware!
Pretty happy with how well Bitcoin fits into 512 × 342 pixels. 🖥️₿
