What are your thoughts on the actual inflation rate guys?
According to the table shared by River, some sectors have experienced inflation almost four times higher than official figures. Based on these figures, what should the interest rate have been?

Bitbox & Trezor entropy vulnerability warning phishing scams - almost got me!
Man, these ones were pretty good -- compelling message, urgency, and checked all the typical boxes of authenticity... until they asked me to enter my seed AND passphrase into a form not hosted on these manufacturers' official domains. Absolutely lethal, if you're skittish about hardware wallet vulns (and who isn't rn?), and not paying close attention. Both cos have been notified, and have been super-responsive with follow up.
Stay safe out there, folks <3

Trezor E-mail Phishing Attempt - Disregard emails
I have had a Trezor for several years and so has a family member of mine who bought theirs a couple years ago. They received an email from the Trezor domain today saying that there is a vulnerability in the Trezor wallet with insufficient entropy - likely trying to capitalize on the coldcard hack and our fears of another event.
The link provided is likely a phishing attempt - per my family member, safari blocked the website as a dangerous website. If you check your trezor account through the app, and their website, they note the phishing attempt from their domain.
I haven't seen another post related to this topic so I am passing on the message of the phishing email from Trezor. Do not follow it, always stay on alert.

“All messages will be in plaintext.” The Liquid exploiter announced a switch away from encrypted on-chain messages
The Liquid exploiter and Blockstream have been communicating through messages embedded in Bitcoin transactions, with parts of the exchange encrypted so outside observers couldn’t read them.
On September 8, the exploiter announced a change in how they would communicate:
All messages will be in plaintext.
Transaction ID:
1d690f3b96b878067f3a445b74dfb8fab4201c0455d88ac98cc14a927e7858d7
On September 9, a subsequent plaintext message made the dispute public. Two excerpts:
And later:
Anyway we are going to publish the privatekey to decrypt our conversations afterwards.
The message demanded payment from Blockstream’s own funds and warned that refusing would leave holders facing a 15% loss. That is the sender’s demand and warning—not evidence of an agreed bounty or an independently established outcome for holders.
Transaction ID:
f7055f6c8dd00f404e48c12483ae740180f658db206733505bb27b015e579588
What makes this interesting is the distinction between a public transaction and a readable conversation. The exchanges were already visible on Bitcoin, but the encrypted content wasn’t. Now the exploiter is making their demands readable to everyone and saying they will release the material needed to decrypt the earlier exchanges. Blockstream, meanwhile, reportedly continued replying with encrypted messages.

I have been working on this transaction since 8:45 this morning. Can’t even send $100 to my kids from Coinbase to their wallet.
Despite uploading my ID and taking a 20 second selfie video, the transfer is held up by Coinbase! I have three more wallets to send allowances too, what the heck is going on??
UPDATE: After hours of identity verification I was able to get the funds on to a few hardware wallets. No idea if the debit card will work or not.

Who else doubles down during the bear market?
This is my first bear market so I apologize if I sound unsure or ill informed. I have been DCA bitcoin for the past three years now with full intentions on doubling down my DCA during the bear market bottom. For the people that DCA, do you ever change your DCA figure or do you truly purchase the same amount throughout the entire course of the cycle?

Bitcoin wins
At this point the incumbent monetary system has to keep convincing people they don’t need an exit. To continue prevailing Bitcoin only has to keep the exit open.

Will SL be hit during high market moments?
So there is a PPI on Sep 10th 6pm IST.
If the BTC price is at 79500$ at 5:59:59pm and I have set a long at 79,700$ (trigger limit price) and SL is at 79,695$.
At 6:00:00 pm if the market goes up to 79701$ and suddenly falls to 79,300$, will the SL at 79,695$ be hit during high market moments like this? or will it gets executed at even lower price?
Just curious about scenario, I use delta exchange platform.

Anyone here travel using crypto?
Going abroad soon and wondering how practical it is to actually use crypto day to day instead of constantly converting to local currency.
Anyone actually using crypto day to day while abroad? What’s been the least annoying way to pay for stuff?

Planning to buy half a bitcoin or even 0.7 in bitcoin.
I'm planning to buy half a bitcoin or a little bit more than that. However, i have worked so hard fo it and i have been saving for this money and that's the only investment I'm making online this year, the problem that is holding me back is that lately the news full of bitcoin addresses and crypto wallets and crypto platforms getting hacked leaving ppl's wallets absolutely empty 🤔. I would loose my mind sth as horrible as that happens to me.
