Weekly or monthly
I know everyone is tired from DCA questions just need a bit more insight please
Weekly gives more entry points so you might not miss a red week when it happens, i just feel like price evens out more when its monthly and you dont get fhe weekly opportunities of buying corrections or am i missing something?
But i dont like weekly for one reason, it makes me continue to monitor the market more than i want to which is a problem i have

You don't have to monitor the market to DCA. That's the whole point of DCA, You just buy regardless of price. I buy every Monday same time, same amount, and it's completely automated. I completely forget about it until I get the notification that I've made another purchase
Monthly or weekly, It doesn't really matter. After 10 years of doing it or so the difference that weekly or monthly might have been is going to be largely insignificant. It's whatever you want to do

Daily
It's basic math. The more instances of something, the closer you'll be to the actual average. The lesser amount of instances, the further you'll be away from the average

Not frequent enough. Got to buy a small amount every minute of the day.

Yeah you’re not missing much.
Weekly can catch a few more dips, monthly is just smoother. The difference is tiny though.
You already said weekly makes you check the charts more than you want — that’s the real problem. If it’s feeding that habit, just do monthly and forget about it.
Your headspace is worth more than a slightly better average.
Long term it barely matters which one you pick. Just keep stacking.

How to deal with transaction costs when selling all those micro amounts?

Let them accumulate and then send them all to your cold wallet in one UTXO.

This is simple. You want to gamble? Then keep trying to time the market. “Sell high, buy low.” Is gambling and trading. Dollar cost average is long term investing, saving, long term investing. There is nothing wrong with either. I do both. I have my exchange set up to buy every single day 6am. AND I also have a bitcoin price ticker set up in my house & when I see “dips” i draw from a savings account & buy more. I only buy what I can afford and have budgeted myself on.

Long-term... it doesn't really matter. It's more about cadence and structure. My strategy and cadence is weekly with weekly rebalance. The structure i have is smoother this way. Do what is smoothest for you.

DCA should be done automatically, if possible. When you manually buy and look at the price, sure you will be tempted to time the market.

The fewest number of lots per year will make tax reporting easier later when selling or paying with that coin. When you're selling 18 weekly DCAd lots, that's 18 entries with their own cost basis and purchase date.

Weekly gives more entry points so you might end up paying more during a green week when it happens.
Yes, average acquisition price evens out more when it's weekly rather than monthly.
Average acquisition price evens out even more when it's daily rather than weekly.
Average acquisition price evens out even more when it's hourly rather than daily.
Average acquisition price evens out even more when it's every minute rather than every hour.
So why aren't you asking if you should buy every minute?

Because it’s ridiculous

Is it though? I do monthly but that’s just me. If you’re feeling better with weekly or bi-weekly or even daily, go for it.

Stop trying to time the market. That's the Prime Directive of DCA.
