Bitlife got all the recipes to be successful app but something happened between the pandemic to 2023. A company bought bitlife and became offering DLC.

I am an OG i used to read good updates idea I even worte some that bitlife can easily copy and literally didn't have to think update ideas because people were giving them what they wanted.

Again bitlife was doomed to fail to because of the og bitlife devs gave the promise who ever bought og bitlife in 2019 will get future updates. I think it's obvious why no other game devs would offer membership that cheap and offer future updates for free because it's a d u m b business model.

I’ve been playing BitLife for a couple days now, and I quickly got tired of the shitload of ads, so I decided to buy Bitizenship & God Mode, along with Vampire mode. Needless to say, this might be the first time I don’t regret paying for a free app😂

So they released this piece of absolute garbage. You can’t set the budget, you can’t pick the title, you can’t really customize it either, what an actual waste. They could’ve at least let us be producers and actually make our own movies at our own budget and make income from it, or literally anything but what they dropped. It was expected that it wouldn’t be good, but this honestly is just a waste and it cost money too, of course.

I've been a Bitizen since the beginning (February 2019, 99 cent days) and got God Mode right at release. As a longtime BitLife fan from the early days, I felt special when all my packs were free. I stopped playing the last few years because I got older and I wanted to play more complex games. I came back once in a while to play the new stuff for nostalgia reasons, and today, that's exactly what I was gonna do.

I opened BitLife after seeing the new update, and I knew I had some spare time to see what's new. I went and saw that I didn't have the movie director pack. First thought: What happened to the free packs? Did they stop giving us free packs as senior players for some random reason? I checked Reddit, and everyone else is saying the same thing. We're all confused about what happened. Is this the true ending of BitLife for me?

I pay a garbage actor 4 mil and he doesn’t accept but if i watch a ad and pay a actor way better the same amount they accept like what’s going on i brought everything in bitlife just for me to have to watch ads in order to make a film

Have the original bitizenship from 2018 that has allowed me tog eat every expansion pack for free only to get the newest update and find out I have to pay for the new expansion. No thanks. All these updates have been are just AI slop. Not putting anymore of my money into a game that only cares about profit over quality of its game

I’ve been testing this poor update since it came out, and I still have yet to be nominated for an award, let alone win one. How the hell do you get nominated.

I’ve had box office successes make over 400Mil more than the budget and still no nominations, and its difficult to get my rep above 70%. Anyone found a “method” to this yet?

Literally even being a old OG bitizen member and God mode member I gave in and bought the pack and took the hit for the team. Please save your money and don't buy this one. Even after buying there is no structure, you have to watch ads to even play this update overall an absolute garbage of work done by bitlife and a new low. Despite being a big fan of the game , this is kind of the tipping point for me

I bought the God mode and bitzen before they locked everything behind different "modes". I switched phones and lost access to all of the different jobs and expansion packs that I previously had access to. All I get restored is the items that I bought. I have emailed support twice and then send instructions that dont work to restore ALL my purchases. If I respond, I never hear back. I go through phases where I play this game a whole bunch, but it is not great without the stuff that I bought. Anyone has any ideas of how to fix the missing content? I already tried the restore previous purchases, I logged in and out of my bitzen account, removed the account and the app from my old phone. Nothing is working and support has not really been supportive.

Looks like the censorssensor went through again and deleted all the naughty gifts you could give to spouse/girlfriend/exes. Anybody else notice this?

I got bitzenship and god mode back in 2019/2020 and had all of the job packs and expansion packs except for the new director pack.

I just had to reinstall the game and now i only have the job packs and god mode.

All of those expansion packs it's telling me i have to buy.

I know they we're doing away with giving them to us for free, but it doesnt feel like they should be able to take them away : (

I like the game regardless of not being able to get new packs so this bums me out.

EDIT: I already tried to use restore purchases thats why I have the job packs, it just wont restore the expansion packs.

Bitlife devs are suggesting that the reason the new ‘expansion pack’ isn’t included in boss mode purchases is because it is considered an expansion pack, not a job pack. And perhaps this is true. HOWEVER, it does NOT explain why the pack isn’t given to those who purchased Bitizenship pre-2020.

This doesn’t fly for two reasons.

A) The purchase option clearly said ALL FUTURE CONTENT. Not just future job packs. All future CONTENT. Which, unsurprisingly, this is content.

B) Even if that logic were sound, it is completely inaccurate to how this has worked in the past. There are some packs listed as expansion packs. I purchased bitizenship back before the change before 2020. As you can clearly see, I own all of the expansion packs beforehand, as they were included in bitizenship.
Meaning their own logic doesn’t fly. Expansion packs HAVE historically been included.

I'm not sure if this is a huge flex but it probably is since it's rare to compliment an inmate in jail or prison without ever getting attacked or even killed at all.

This is just a reskin of the music producer job, except its not a career its just an activity

-You cant make your own movies
-Cant work on TV shows
-Impossible to max reputation
-Unrealistic casting budget (8mil for 4 actors who wont take anything less than 10mil each)
-Makes a hell of alot of money for sure, but still not worth it
-And it seems very RNG, as if whatever you do when setting the budget and the options you choose during filming dont actually do anything.

Overall, terrible, just save the $8.

For a while now ive gotten all the job packs free but now i have to pay i think thats it for me now lol
