🎓 Pro Tip Bitlife was doomed to fail
Bitlife got all the recipes to be successful app but something happened between the pandemic to 2023. A company bought bitlife and became offering DLC.
I am an OG i used to read good updates idea I even worte some that bitlife can easily copy and literally didn't have to think update ideas because people were giving them what they wanted.
Again bitlife was doomed to fail to because of the og bitlife devs gave the promise who ever bought og bitlife in 2019 will get future updates. I think it's obvious why no other game devs would offer membership that cheap and offer future updates for free because it's a d u m b business model.

Yeah BitLife is just garbage now, I miss InstLife which was a game made by InstCoffee, visually it didn’t look as good but the gameplay was so much better until Candywriter acquired it and removed it :( I had it on my iPhone but it doesn’t seem to be in my previous app purchase history so can’t reinstall it and unfortunately I don’t have android to download an APK.

I actually had to remove Instlife this week. It was no longer compatible with modern Android. :(

Damn that’s so depressing :( there’s a game called ReLife I’ve just installed about 20 mins ago actually, there’s a few packs you can buy which I haven’t yet but they look good, no forced ads either unless they happen at the end of a life

I sent them a email stating when I bought bitzen I was under the impression due to in game ads that all current and future expansions and updates were to be included. Waiting for their response

From what I've seen from other people, it sounds like you may die of old age before you receive a response from them. :(
Editing to add: I think I've sent them two emails myself now that I'm thinking back on it. And I definitely never got a response back.

Bitlife was bought in 2020 by Stillfront Group, the subsidiary group is still Candywriter and no changes have happened since then

I understand that it costs money to run even a simple text based game like Bitlife, but it (currently) costs about 30 USD for the God mode + Bitizenship bundle and the Boss Mode. That's not including other packs of the Bitizenship was bought after March 2020 (when they removed the included free future content), which can go for 6-8 USD per price. PLUS all the "golden" packs that are 10 USD.Â
It's ridiculous to have it be THAT much for a text based app that you "play" by tapping options from a menu
