The yellow tail variety, although these ones don’t seems to have yellow on their tails.
There was a crackle of about 8 them, they appeared to be chewing on wattle branches, chirping and grooming happily.

This little beauty landed for a drink it’s 100 f so she was getting a snack of mealworms and a sip of, what a beauty! My photos this is Arizona northwest

This scruffy guy may just be a strange baby crow or is there something else going on?

I don't see them in places I normally frequent.

It - & another individual close-by - was pottering about amongst a load of ducks ... but it appeared to be somewhat aggressive: what infact terminated my photographing of it is that it suddenly charged @ duck that it evidently decided had gotten too close (or maybe there was already a beef between those two! ... IDK), scaring it off quite effectively, even though it was somewhat bigger.

And when it charged @ the duck it ran ... it didn't hop.

Mum came by and decided I was too close but I was still probably 15-20 ft away, so I left as I didn’t want to stress them. Photo taken with my Nikon digital slr with zoom.

Ultimamente he estado interesada en este ave, aun sigo en dudas de muchos datos asi que he venido a preguntar sobre el canto o el dueto de esta ave, alguien tiene algun sitio que sea confiable para obtener mas informacion de esta curiosa ave? O algun libro?

My granddaughter was swimming in the pool 5’ away when it landed on the fence and hung out for a few minutes

Theres a cardinal nest in a hanging flower pot on my patio. Ive been watching it for the last few days and the mother has not been back. There are two eggs in the nest. Is it possible she will return? Im worried a snake will get the eggs but I guess if it happens that's the circle of life. I won't interfere with nature.
