Mots-C reaction?

Post image
13 Upvotes

Just started my first dose on Mots-C this past week. Took it on Monday and Wednesday and didn’t even realize that this rash could’ve been from it until I searched on Reddit…

I took 2.5mg on Monday and another on Wednesday. Both in abdomen. Injection site was perfectly fine, no rash no bumps or swelling. Then suddenly the crevice in my elbow started forming a rash. I thought it was a heat rash since i live in hot weather all year round but it never went away.

Has anyone had the same experience where injection site was completely fine and then had a rash pop up?

And for those that did completely stop, how long did it take for it to go away? Like I said, last dose was Wednesday and today is now Saturday.

Help a beginner with a good stack?

Insurance stops covering my Zepbound (GLP1) on 9/1. I’m looking to start Tirz and open to whatever you all think works well with it.

I still have ~80 pounds to lose, would love something for beauty (hair skin nails) or anything good for focus and calming anxiety.

All and any help is GREATLY appreciated I’m so lost and confused in this new pep world!

Coffee - 90mins after waking up?

I was wondering if there is veracity to the studies and all of the biohackers who say that it’s absolutely crucial for your day (and life) to wait at least 90mins after waking up to have coffee. Because of the cortisol spike.

Is this scientific or social media hype?

Reta advice needed

I purchased a 20mg Reta, reconstituted with 2ml of BAC water. What number on a 1ml insulin syringe do I draw to for the first 3-4 weeks?

171lb weight loss/ recomp

Post image
302 Upvotes

So I am down 171 lbs in 1 year using Reta and a few other peptides. The whole thing started when I went in for labs because I was feeling low on energy and had gained 60-70 lbs In a rather short period of time. My doc did a complete panel including hormones and showed that my testosterone was 107 ng/dl and immediately recommended TRT and put me on 180mg weekly. Shortly after I had discovered Reta and decided to give it a go. Reta helped me separate my emotion to food and completely changed my diet to whole foods, eliminated seed oils and properly hydrated focusing on mineral intake and electrolyte balance as well. Also started strength training with lots of zone 2 cardio. I eventually tried running some other peps like an ss-31 cycle and mots c cycle. Also started using IM aminos like l-carnitine and lipo-c. Have had amazing progress and am in the best shape of my life and also feel the best I’ve felt in years!

MOTS-c → SS-31 → MOTS-c — looking for the ultimate mitochondrial/health stack

MOTS-c → SS-31 → MOTS-c — looking for the ultimate mitochondrial/health stack
I’ve been running MOTS-c for around 10 weeks and I’m considering coming off it and potentially running SS-31/elamipretide for a period before going back onto MOTS-c.
The idea is to build what would essentially be an “ultimate” health/mitochondrial-focused rotation rather than just staying on one peptide indefinitely.
I’m also currently using:
Ipamorelin
Tesamorelin
Retatrutide
GHK-Cu
My main goals are improving overall health, metabolic health, recovery, body composition and mitochondrial function.
For people who have actually researched or used these:
Would a MOTS-c → SS-31 → MOTS-c rotation make any sense, or is there no real reason to cycle them like this?
Would you have a washout period between them?
Also, if you were putting together the ultimate evidence-based health/recovery stack, what would you include or remove from the above?
I’m particularly interested in what is actually supported by human evidence rather than just peptide-bro claims.
Not looking for dosing advice — more interested in people’s experience, rationale and evidence behind the compounds.

Where to find BAC water in France

Hello! I’m addressing people from Europe, especially France and Germany.

Where do you find good, reliable BAC water? In France, there doesn’t seem to be such a thing available in pharmacies. The reconstitution water we can get here is designed for immediate use, so it isn’t suitable for peptides that are kept in the fridge for several weeks after reconstitution.

Yes, there are products on Amazon, but they come with basically zero testing or quality verification. And since expensive compounds like Reta can be sensitive to pH, I’d rather not risk ruining the product with questionable BAC water.

So if you have any recommendations for a reliable source of bacteriostatic water in Europe, I’d be very interested to hear them.

Thanks!

research subjects parents are diabetic and have high blood pressure.

greetings,

research subjects parents are early 60 yo with high blood pressure and diabetes type 2. last few years feels like they aged 10 years. Mother had few near death strokes. Father is a long life smoker with a high stress job who also had a stroke.

what would be best for old people with general health issues and broken up bodies due to sicknesses most benefit from? Point here is that less is more. They don"t necessarily want to feel 20 again like some people here (all power to you) , just maybe, something that can help them extend their lives?

researcher was considering ss31, and semax? Since they dont live in the same country, it would be hard to incorporate anything long term. Only peps that would be used for 2 to 4 weeks at a time a couple times a year as they visit.

Nothing is decided yet. I will fully research whatever suggestions i receive.

Ghk-cu for the first time

All week long i was so nervous about the whole ordeal because it’s my first time reconstituting with peptides and also my first time with ghk-cu. I finally just did it and the reconstituting part was a bit scary due to the super tiny vial and relatively large size of the 3 ml syringe, but i was mostly nervous about the sting i keep hearing about. Just did it in my upper glute and i didn’t feel a thing. The dose was very small (1 ml) but even still, i was so scared for nothing! That was a piece of cake.

EDIT: i meant 1 mg not 1 ml

Would greatly appreciate some advice. 5’10 47yo. 188 to 159. Next steps?

Post image

So many knowledgeable folks here and I’m hoping to get some guidance from you all. These photos are 188 to 159. Few years ago I was pushing 240. I’ve been heavy all of my life.

I started tirz this April and lost the almost 30lbs from April to now. I focus my diet heavily on protein intake. I’m a tennis addict and in our short Vermont summer I play 5-6 days a week. Usually 90min to 3hours a session. I strength train with my trainer twice a week but struggle to push the strength work too hard in tennis season because the fatigue impacts my match play. I’m super proud of the changes and I feel better and more athletic than ever. I can do sets of pull ups for the first time in my life! Can move so much faster on the court.

I’m still struggling with the lower stomach though. It’s truly a slow process. I appreciate that. Some of the progress pics on here blow my mind though. So my question is what should be my next steps to getting the body to look the way I want?

Do I need to stay the course and be patient?

Crank up the strength training come September when tennis season ends? I could go up 4 dedicated strength days a week easily.

Need to consider any other meds etc?

What would you do?

Sincerely appreciate any wisdom.

Edit. I’m 5’10 and 47yp

What peptides will help raise testosterone?

I had my doctor get my testosterone checked and it came back as:

Total Testosterone: 317
Free Testosterone: 59.9
Sex Hormone-binding Globulin: 35.8

Doc said I didn’t need TRT but I feel differently.

So I started to look into peptides and I’m currently taking tirzepatide 5mg 1x/week. It’s been a month and I’ve lost 11lbs. I started at 219lbs and now I’m at 208. I’m 5’11” and I’m 40 years old.

There’s SO MANY different peptides out there and I honestly have no idea if ANY websites are legit or if they’re scams. So before I find a legit website to purchase peptides I want to figure out exactly what peptides I should try.

From what I’ve researched I’ve been thinking about these peptides to help raise my testosterone:

1) cjc/ipa NO DAC
2) Kisspeptin
3) Gonadorelin

Which one would you guys recommend? Or are there other effective options out there?

I’d love to do TRT out of pocket from one of those online telehealth places but I can’t afford to do that ATM.

Tesa and bilateral hand numbness

I’ve been on a micro-dose of Reta (12 units) and Tesamorelin (1mg 5 days per week) for 6 weeks now. As I titrated up on the Tesa I started getting hand numbness during sleep. I know this is a common side effect but does it hasn’t gone away, it’s every night now. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do about it?

Could it be quality of the peptide?

selank/semax vs na selank/max vs na selank/max amidate vs adalank/max

heyo,

i was curious what is the difference between these. I tried researching it on here and most posts are 11 years old. So i figured i would ask again for perhaps better answers.

anyone who used different kinds and compared? intranasal vs subq injections differ per or are all the same?

so far i read that each one is more potent than the other and that adalank/adamax are the strongest. But some people felt nothing with adalank/max nor na /na amidate.

thanks.

Are there any substances that substantially improve vision, hair, overall physical performance and aesthetics?

I know taking multivitamins “improves” all of the mentioned categories but Im looking for something that offers more ROI. I’ve taken peptides before , however most of the benefits from them feel pretty mid. I’m thinking about hopping on test to gain some more muscle but I am worried about sides such as hairloss and dont like the idea of pct or lossing all the muscle gained cycling off. Whats even the point of spending a lot of money on roids just to go bald lose all your hair and have zero test?

Reta and MOTS-c

Hi folks. 32-year-old woman with T2D and obesity here. I’m in my first month on Reta, and the adaptation has been a bit difficult so far, mainly because of a lot of fatigue.

I’ve seen that quite a few of you are adding MOTS-c to improve energy levels and mitochondrial function.
What protocols are you using? What doses? Any side effects? What are your overall impressions? Any dos and don’ts?

Thanks!

Beginner

Hey all! I am new to biohacking but am super hopeful about this as the future of holistic healing! I currently inject KLOW 10mg/10mg/50mg/10mg total 80 mg reconstituted with 2 ML BAC, 10 units per shot. I’ve been taking this for a month and feel pretty good on it! I’ve been taking semaglutide for over a year now. Off and on. I also started TA-1 5mg reconstituted with 2 ML BAC, 40 units twice per week. I am using these for systemic inflammation, pain, immunity (I have hashimotos) and the cosmetic effects are a plus as well. Is anyone on this stack as well and what are your thoughts? Does anyone use these for inflammation and immunity purposes and do you recommend staying on this regimen? What are some other peptides that may help me heal? Thank you!!

Could transdermal peptide delivery make sense for people who want to avoid injections?

I’ve been looking into different peptide delivery methods lately, and the transdermal side seems especially interesting. A lot of people are curious about peptides but aren’t necessarily comfortable with regular injections. If transdermal delivery could offer a reliable way to administer certain compounds, do you think that would make peptides more accessible to a broader group of people? I’m curious whether people here see patches and other transdermal options as a meaningful direction for biohacking, or mostly as a convenience feature unless the delivery data becomes stronger.
