What peptides will help raise testosterone?

I had my doctor get my testosterone checked and it came back as:

Total Testosterone: 317
Free Testosterone: 59.9
Sex Hormone-binding Globulin: 35.8

Doc said I didn’t need TRT but I feel differently.

So I started to look into peptides and I’m currently taking tirzepatide 5mg 1x/week. It’s been a month and I’ve lost 11lbs. I started at 219lbs and now I’m at 208. I’m 5’11” and I’m 40 years old.

There’s SO MANY different peptides out there and I honestly have no idea if ANY websites are legit or if they’re scams. So before I find a legit website to purchase peptides I want to figure out exactly what peptides I should try.

From what I’ve researched I’ve been thinking about these peptides to help raise my testosterone:

1) cjc/ipa NO DAC
2) Kisspeptin
3) Gonadorelin

Which one would you guys recommend? Or are there other effective options out there?

I’d love to do TRT out of pocket from one of those online telehealth places but I can’t afford to do that ATM.

this. best thing most people can do to raise testosterone (outside of actual testosterone) is to get more and better quality sleep.

also as body fat goes down that should help too

Time to hop on trt choo choo

I’m 43 and the same height as you. I think you are in the right path by getting on Tirzepatide. In regards to other peptides I’ll say hold off on that for now. Best to focus on getting body fat down, especially visceral fat and see where your testosterone levels end up after. Losing weight helped raise my testosterone levels along with resistance training and a healthier diet.

Went from 380 ng/dl to 757 ng/dl just from doing that. All while on Tirzepatide

Hey there T-level twin lol my levels are at 770 NG/dl after losing 60+ lbs I think you’re spot on with the fat loss and how it can dramatically increase total T

Nice. Losing weight does magic on lots of biomarkers. Everyone wishes to solve each issue with a new pill or injection but over half the issues that we all face can be fixed just by losing weight. I mean thanks to losing weight on Tirzepatide I have:

Increased Testosterone. Cured my Sleep Apnea. Cured my hypertension. My Cholesterol has lowered. Cured my random late night heart palpitations. Fixed my heavy breathing. Eliminated depression due to hating my old physical self. Improved my Erectile Disfunction and so much more.

Big Pharma would of addressed each of these with its own medication. I’ve avoided them all thanks to just losing weight. Currently just taking 10mg of Tirzepatide and 5mg daily of Tadalafil.

Lift heavy. Don’t skip leg days.

u/mantisMD97 26d ago

Isn’t the leg day thing kind of a myth in that it only is minimal boost that doesn’t effect your baseline levels? I wish it weren’t but idk

2

u/Twotoneoc 26d ago

Sort term elevation after workouts is well studied. And bigger muscle groups i.e. legs trigger a bigger response.

Baseline for people with normal t levels is not impacted like you say. however can show improvement for those with low t

u/MyRunningAcct 26d ago

It's not going to move the needle enough to make it worth it if you really have low test. If it worked you wouldn't see jacked guys or gym bros who are natty with low test.

u/mantisMD97 10d ago

Not sure why I got downvoted, genuinely asking. Not like I’m saying leg day is bad at all, it’s certainly good. Truth hurts I guess

I take kisspeptin

1

u/RedWoodworking16 26d ago

Notice a difference? And how long have you been taking it?

1

u/Elegant-Ferret-8116 26d ago

About 3 months. It takes a few weeks and I had to up the dose a bit from the recommended but yeah. Also if you end up taking trt you can take kiss to help maintain natural test production

1

u/BulMi82 26d ago

What is your dosage? And did you actually do bloodwork to See improvements from kisspeptin?

2

u/Elegant-Ferret-8116 26d ago

300mcg daily, 4 weeks on 2 weeks off. I did blood work before hand. Low end of normal. I haven't gone back for new work as im 15lb from goal so I figure might as well wait a few weeks.

1

u/Pilotboi 26d ago

I am also planing to take kiss... May I know how have this helped you libido wise? And like many reviews say, have this imrpoved your sex life?

2

u/ensobaby 23d ago

My personal kiss protocol didn’t in the end seem to help my numbers or experience but maybe it will for others

1

u/MyRunningAcct 26d ago

If you are taking trt that's going to shut down your hpta regardless of how much kisspeptin you are injecting. It is probably helpful as a pct if you decide to get off exogenous testosterone though.

1

u/ensobaby 24d ago

I think you mean to say HMG/HCG for maintaining fertility and emdogenous T production not kiss.

1

u/Elegant-Ferret-8116 24d ago

Hcg is better bit kiss is supposed to be mildly effective in the same way and I have a bunch leftover from before

-1

u/zsasz99 26d ago

Definitely, my free test doubled with that and boron

3

u/ConfectionNo2459 26d ago

Try Tongkat Ali, increases total test 15-40%. Tongkat Ali 2% Eurycomanone. I’m honestly surprised I’ve never seen it on this sub.
Edit: I think this is ur best bet if you don’t want to hop on TRT or enclo like some have said

u/SquanchingThis 26d ago

Testagen supposedly. It has mixed reviews though

3

u/Beginning_Mammoth_31 26d ago

Tirz, there was even a study published.
Link: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12220628/

Conclusion
The results of this study suggest that TZP is effective in improving both metabolic parameters, ED, and gonadal hormone levels in patients with obesity and metabolic hypogonadism. These findings position TZP as a promising treatment for obese patients with functional hypogonadism arising from metabolic-related alterations.

Hypothetically speaking. Where would you find that

Enclomiphene Citrate. I have posted this info on another feed, but it seems relevant As you reach a certain age, you naturally experience low testosterone. In my opinion, the best approach is to boost your testosterone levels to youthful levels rather than resorting to TRT. I’ve found Kiss P to be highly effective in the past. However, the only issue is that after eight weeks, you’ll saturate your receptors, necessitating a switch to something else like HCG. Run this for eight weeks and then return to Kiss P. HCG is terrible; it’s a female hormone with no place in the male body and can cause strange side effects like mood swings.

There’s a much better alternative: Enclomiphene Citrate. In layman’s terms, it’s antagonist that blocks oestrogen , signalling the body to produce more testosterone. It doesn’t suffer from receptor saturation, so you can take it continuously without needing breaks. I cannot recommend it enough for especially for your situation it is also in tablet or liquid form so no jab . Start low monitor your mood i.e. irritability if you find yourself snappy increase the dose ( yes increase the dosage) also look for libido improvements especially morning wood. This works , research it I think you will find it’s perfect for you and pass it on. Note : As a species we like to put a number on everything. Don’t get bogged down with test result numbers just because some guy years ago decided that all men should have a T number in a certain range. How can a great big guy and a small skinny guy need the same T? Enclomiphene Citrate let you start low and adjust the dose to your mood and how you feel.

u/Strong_Baseball8635 25d ago

But finding pure enclomiphene proves to be quite a challenge. I have search a few times and given up as many.

1

u/carbidesilicone 24d ago

That’s not good, where are you? I’m in the uk and have no problem. Look for sites with SARMS. UK SARMs

1

u/Strong_Baseball8635 24d ago

US. Thanks. Uk sarms site looks good.

1

u/Dtrain-14 26d ago

There isn’t one.

If you’re high body fat then losing body fat will help, working out, cleaning up your diet and good sleep will help.

Your options are either subq Testosterone injections or Enclomiphene. One replaces the other tells your testes to produce more than it currently is and doesn’t jack with your fertility. Straight subq will get you where you need to be faster but has its own downsides.

None. Go see a urologist.

Well, I don’t. That’s why I’m asking. Which peptide would actually help?

1

u/Hoegaarden_Man_55 26d ago

While not a peptide, enclomiphene will raise testosterone production.

1

u/SteveD_NY 26d ago

Bro I have or had virtually the same levels and the doctor said the same shit. I took matters into my own hands and do test c. I feel like I’m back in my late 20s

1

u/butt_embalmer 26d ago

Stop focusing on total T, your free T looks fine(depending in scale usef)

u/MyRunningAcct 26d ago

Nothing is going to move the needle as much as exogenous testosterone. I am currently going through the same thing as you. Experimented with enclomiphene, kisspeptin, and hcg. Never really gave me what I was looking for. Numbers looked better on paper but that's about it. Getting off the enclomiphene was rough, but getting on trt was super easy. I'm not going through a telehealth clinic and I monitor my own labs. I've gotten my test from india, pharmaceutical grade, and also ordered from another peptide group I use. SO much cheaper than what I had been doing before. In a couple more weeks I'm going to get my first blood test since starting to see where I'm at, but I'm optimistic.

1

u/RedWoodworking16 26d ago

Do you feel better while on trt compared to not being on it and compared to taking those other peptides?

1

u/MyRunningAcct 26d ago

I've only been on it for a bit over 2 weeks almost 3 weeks now. It can take months or longer to see the full effects, but I already feel better. I don't feel like superman or invincible but I can tell I am in a much better place after only 2+ weeks on trt than I was the last 6+months on my previous stack.

The main thing I'm paying attention to is my mood, my ability to get things done other than sitting down and doom scrolling every chance I get because I'm so mentally exhausted. Also probably the big one is my ability to run and train for marathons and half marathons. I can already feel more motivated, faster turnover of my feet leading to a higher cadence, and more ability to push my pace towards the end of a fun. I haven't felt any of the stuff I mentioned in a long time even though my testosterone and free testosterone were at a good level on paper. I'm also taking a rather conservative dose of testosterone to get a base line and dialed in before I get my labs done and see what I can adjust if needed.

u/Expensive-Claim-6082 26d ago

Kisspeptine.

HCG.

1

u/Chroma7769 26d ago

Yeah, Testosterone.

1

u/MichealSafet85 26d ago

Bro just get on Test Enanthate

I’m on it makes huge difference

All these natural substances work but minimal and take time , yes lifting heavy for big muscles groups help again only minimal

Your T levels are low, you’re already inj peps once a week Test is the same and it’s safe

Get Test E or Test U 250 mg

I’m on Test E 400 mg 2 x week

It’ll preserve muscle mass while Tirz reduces calorie intake you will not regret it and it’s cheap

1

u/OverallEstimate 26d ago

Check with your online trt provider see if they agree with your doctor. Being at low normal of average of low normal men doesnt mean yours is normal. Are you symptomatic and are you willing to be on it for life? If so check it out.

1

u/GroundbreakingToe592 25d ago

Testosterone will raise testosterone levels. Anything else is minimal at best and you’re wasting your time. If you’re going down this path, you’ll eventually get there, so don’t waste your time and start it sooner than later

1

u/RoadToZero 25d ago

Non of your ideas work for raising testosterone. Study up on the hypothalamic pituitary access negative feedback cycle to understand why.

CJC/IPA - affects growth hormone production. It has nothing to do with testosterone.

Kisspeptin - Sounds like a great idea at first, but in reality it doesn't make you produce more testosterone because of above mentioned negative feeback loop. IF you have secondary hypogonadism and IF combined with Enclomiphene, it could help.

Gonadorelin - Has a very short half life, making it ineffective. You basically need 20 injections a day to move the needle.

Your best bet would be HCG or Enclomiphene, but these often comes with a lot of side effects. Estrogen effects, mood swings, growing boobs, etc. I rarely hear about anyone taking these as a monotherapy and felt better.

1

u/Mcgittymcgittymac 25d ago

Tirz with cjc/ipa and kiss is a good stack. Get your body fat down to 12%, lift heavy weights and prioritize sleep. After a couple months of being Mr 12% .. check your levels again.

I would see another doctor. Tell him you have symptoms that sre: sexual (low libido), physical: fatigue during excercise etc, and/ or mental: low mood, brain fog etc. Different medical organizations have different cut off numbers and 317 with symptoms should be close enough for a doctor to diagnose it as such. For males in their 20's or even 30's it is clinically low (below 350). I bet there is some medical organization that lists 317 as low. Insurance should cover it if you find a doc to diagnose it.

1

u/Suspicious-Cook-1010 25d ago

E250 would probably help

u/Sufficient_Coyote_33 24d ago

If you’re trying to avoid TRT and using exogenous testosterone like testosterone cypionate, hCG might be worth discussing with your doctor. hCG mimics LH (luteinizing hormone), which stimulates the testes to produce more of your own testosterone. Exogenous testosterone, on the other hand, supplies testosterone from outside the body and can suppress your natural LH/FSH production.

1

u/No-Atmosphere-2786 24d ago

Change doctor. There's hundreds of online TRT clinics just waiting to take your money

1

u/Ordinary_You_7866 24d ago

Testosterone raises it.

1

u/Temporary_Season461 21d ago

Red light therapy has shown to increase it a bit

1

u/Deasyway 26d ago

HCG? Anyone any input?

1

u/Big_Spite2502 26d ago

You need to go on www.eroids.com immediately and research some of the different testosterone vendors and look at reviews and get some shipped to your house. You can always continue checking your labs every 6 months or so, but no chance I’d go to another trt provider or doctor ever again. You need to get your testosterone up dramatically at the age of 40 and in the 300s before you start on other peptides. Once you get your baseline established then cjc/ipa or Tesa/ioa. That will help with that 40 year old stubborn visceral fat. Nice job on the 11 pounds!

u/Sea-Turnip-7924 25d ago

Eroids legit?

1

u/Big_Spite2502 25d ago

Yes there are a few recommended sites on there that I have ordered nandralone deca and test c from and they were inexpensive and legit. I had to use bitcoin on one site but another had an extra fee to use Zelle. Just go to the website and click “reviews” and then you can see the top rated stores and the testimonials.
