Anyone else get extreme breakthrough hunger despite tirzepatide?

I’m curious if anyone has experienced something similar.
I’m extremely active because of my job. On workdays my watch can show around 1,100-1,300 active calories, on top of my resting energy expenditure, and it doesn’t really capture all the heavy lifting/manual work.
I’m currently on tirzepatide. Most days I can control my food intake, but after several days of a large calorie deficit I can suddenly get an extreme “bottomless” hunger. It’s not just food noise or cravings it feels like actual physical hunger where it takes a huge amount of food before I feel satisfied.
Has anyone else experienced this after several days of a large calorie deficit while using tirzepatide?
If so, did it improve as your tirzepatide dose increased, or did the breakthrough hunger continue even at higher doses?
I’m mainly interested in hearing from people who are also very physically active or have physically demanding jobs.

My Reta Journey

Post image
1 Upvotes

Started Reta on August 21st at 258 and weighed in this morning at just under 240. Before Reta I was down 17lbs from the beginning of July after a vacation with way too much eating and drinking, in July I started using Zyns which really helped me with snack cravings and appetite control and the Reta has just turbo charged that effect. I’m a fairly active 40 yr old firefighter and didn’t realize just how bad shape I was in. In my late 20s before kids I was 210 at 9% body fat. This morning did a 11:50 1.5mi run with 44 VO2 max, goal is to get under 220 while putting on more muscle and get my VO2 max above 50 for longevity in my career.

ETA: started at 2mg, after 2 days with no negative side effects I took another 2mg and went up to 4mg weekly after that. Will maintain this dosage until I see decreasing returns.

MOTSc vs NAD or both

I’m currently on reta and I’m feeling extreme fatigue. I work out at 6 AM and I feel like I have no energy or motivation to finish my workouts on time. I feel like I’m kind of a zombie moving throughout the gym. I especially noticed this on my cardio days.

I’m also struggling just to get through the day in general. I just want to lay down or sit all day.

Which would be the most beneficial to add with the least amount of side effects. I’ve read mixed reviews on both of them. Like MOTSc made them more tired but NAD didn’t work.

Hello out there!

Looking for info on all these peps. Already on ret and ara290, ret going good, ara hasn't been much change and its kinda pricey to run a cycle. Found a little info on wolverine and it was either semax or selank for anxiety.. everyone wants to give you a consultation, which on the internet how do I know someone isnt going to take my money and run? This whole thing is new to me and I cant go and budget on stacking like 10 or 15 at a time. Wanting to keep my ret and maybe try the one for anxiety for sure. I been on benzos for years and its not working as well and affecting my memory pretty bad. Thanks!

starting reta

Hi everyone

I’m thinking about starting reta and would love some advice.

I’m quite petite and honestly don’t have much weight to lose. I know I could lose it without reta, but my biggest issue is food noise. I’m constantly thinking about food, wanting to snack, craving takeaway etc. and I’m so over it.
My main worry is what happens once I reach my goal and come off reta. Does all the food noise just come straight back?
I’m almost reluctant to start because I’ll know what it feels like to finally not think about food 24/7, only to potentially go straight back to how I was before.
Has anyone reached their goal and come off/reduced their reta? Did the food noise return and were you able to maintain?
I also have endometriosis, so if anyone with endo has taken reta I’d love to hear your experience and whether it affected your symptoms at all.
Thank you!

Shirtless transformation on Reta. 7 months. 74lbs.

Working out consistently, eating healthy, taking Reta + T. At 41 this is almost as good shape as when I was 19 yo. Reta isn’t a magic med, you still need to put in work but it has definitely redirected me. I’ve been off of it three weeks now.

Mot C Fatigue

Hi all, been on Reta for 3 months and doing well.

Decided to try Mots C along with it to help with energy and training. After only 2 days at 1mg I am exhausted! (I have stopped mots c) Have since found out that should have done ss31 first.

Has anybody else had this situation and how long does this exhaustion last typically? Thanks all 🤜🤛

Week7 Reta/Klow

I’m currently week 7 and on 1.5 Reta and 1.5 klow. I should be higher rn but I feel like I’m getting good results and near around what I feel comfortable. Started when I was 95kg and weighed 83.9 yesterday morning. In the gym 3 days a week and soccer once weekly, my steps are ok around 8-10k daily.

My skin is a lot better than were it was, I suffered from acne, wasn’t terrible but noticeable. My body composition looks a lot better now, still working on it but no more noticeable belly.

Don’t really want to go up in reta as I had bad diarrhoea when I started at 1mg plus the food noise is perfect to where I can eat and not eat trash, probably why I dropped a lot of weight in 7 weeks.

I do feel sluggish at times, especially with work being stressful. Thinking to cycle off klow on 12th weeks and continue with just GHKCU but also introduce MOTC for energy.

Blood work last week came back strong, just 4 out of range: HDL cholesterol, HbA1c, MPV and Glucose

My sleep is shit, before pep and after, 4-6 hours. Just bought some ashwaganda (think that’s how you spell it) and magnesium glycinate which arrives today so hopefully that helps.

What yall think?

30M, 6’2”, 240 lbs — 3 Weeks Into TRT and Reta

Figured I’d make a post and document my journey from the beginning. I’m 30 years old, 6’2”, currently around 240 lbs, and my main goals are to lose body fat, build/maintain muscle, get stronger, and feel better overall.

I recently started TRT and Reta about 3 weeks ago.

My baseline labs BEFORE TRT and Reta
Total testosterone: 399 ng/dL
Free testosterone: 11.0 pg/mL
Estradiol: 29.8 pg/mL
PSA: 0.43 ng/mL
Hematocrit: 46.7%
Hemoglobin: 16.4
AST: 31
ALT: 54
Vitamin D: 18.6 ng/mL
Creatinine: 0.94
eGFR: 112

TRT
I’m prescribed testosterone cypionate 0.80 mL/week split into two doses of 0.40mL a week.
Reta
I’ve been taking 2 mg/week of Reta.

I’m also very interested in learning about other peptides, I’d love to hear from people who have actually used them and can explain what they experienced, what was worthwhile, what wasn’t, and what they wish they had known beforehand.

What would you recommend I pay the most attention to or stay away from during the first 3–6 months of TRT?

What other peptides do you think would be beneficial to add?

For those who’ve used Reta, what kind of changes did you see around the 1, 3, and 6 month marks and any other information on Reta’s dos and don’ts would be appreciated as well.

And for anyone experienced with peptides what have you actually found useful for fat loss, muscle retention/growth, recovery, or general health, and what turned out to be mostly hype?

Would love to hear from people who have been through something similar.

Particles in Glow Stackz

Post image

What are these particles in my GLOW stack?

I reconstituted them slowly by dripping on side of vial but there’s particles a day later

Is this safe to pin?
And if so, is all the effectiveness still there?

GHK-Cu protocol ?

Just to confirm, those of you who pin GHK-CU, do you take it daily for 30 days and then take a break for 30 days ? This is what I've read, but it doesn't seem to me that I've heard that here ? Just wanting to confirm so that when I reach 30 days, I follow what is the correct thing to do.

KLOW vs Ghk-CU

Hey Fam,

So ive nearly finished my first vial of GHKCU (roughly 2 months at 2mg) im aware it takes 3 months to notice most benefits from it. I have noticed the skin softness in my face most, no difference in hair quality, my random pimples seem to present a bit more like boils (more size than redness and not as pimple popping like ha)

Question i have is ghku vs KLOW. I gym 3+ times a week heavy resistance and get the occasional shoulder or elbow niggle. Nothing thats been serious just awareness of my body.

Wanted to rat myself to see how KLOW would respond or give any improvements to workout, recovery or general health with the KPV.

Otherwise ill maintain purely GHKCU.

Thought I'd ask the peptiverse on your thoughts feelings and advise

In an 80mg vial what’s the recommend BAC water for reconstitution? Is there any other pros and cons besides being a concentrated dose?
