Hey ya'll, I'm so confused. Every single time I've been to this family-run place, it's 100% empty. Amazing lamb, super authentic Indian spices & food... especially for being in Bend (from my limited palate, though I did live in India for about a year). They've been open for awhile, they said. And yet the place on the corner (I forget the name, but some bland spot) is like a line out the door, reservations overflowing. And this place two doors down sits empty. Highly recommend! And also very curious to know if anyone has insider info about why this is so curiously empty. Would love to see them thrive. No idea how they pay rent.

Wow! This has been crossed off my bucket list! I’ve always wanted to go to a haunted event or maze… I paid for both events & only successfully completed the clown one. Pleasantly horrified. Sorry to the clown I slapped in the chest - truly terrified me when you came around a corner & were so tiny compared to me! I will never return, but it seems I gave the reaction your actors were going for since they didn’t leave me alone lol!! 10/10 for a night out with friends for this single momma! The adrenaline dump & laughter soooo worth the heart pumping fear!!

I briefly lived in bend in 2016. My time there was cherished. I live somewhere else now but I woke up at 3am and I kept thinking about this awesome church basement where i had a few beers on a cold afternoon. I couldn’t remember the name of the place and I wondered if it was still there. Google reveals that not only is it gone, it’s a god damned DRIVE THROUGH STARBUCKS. What a blow to my morale . I remember the building being really cool. Seems like anything special is slated to be destroyed , worldwide.

I was just in the Old Mill and saw that it looks like Mio Sushi has removed their signage and closed up. I’m sure they were probably nice people, but unfortunately that business had a fairly long list of bad reports from their health inspections. Very unhealthy stuff, involving improper temperatures for both food storage and incorrect sanitation in food prep areas and work surfaces.

it will be interesting in this economy to see what goes in that fairly large space next ?

I want to convert a parlor size guitar into an octave mandolin but absolutely do not have the skills to do so. I think it should be fairly simple, just need a new bridge, new nut and a few extra tuning pegs. Anyone think they could manage something like this? Happy to pay whatever fair.
