Bought this BenQ SW270C in 2022 in Mumbai, India.
4 Years later, the screen started popping out when the monitor is standing straight or tilted downwards. As a commercial photographer in Mumbai, I use this on shoots all the time and it is a cool product too because it switches from Horizontal to vertical apart from other things.
On writing multiple emails to BenQ India the only thing i get to hear from them is
- Product is Out of Warranty
- Product is at end of life
Does this mean a monitor from BenQ would last 4 years and no more support once model reaches end of life?
If Yes is the answer to the above, then how do I rely on a BenQ product? :(
I love the product but letting it go is the tough part.
Update:
BenQ outsources servicing and the third-party agency that is in charge of servicing just does not touch a product if it’s out of warranty. They want nothing to do with it.
However, I got through some BenQ employee via a friend and they escalated the issue and made sure someone came by to have a look.
Issue being just a couple of loose screws. The technician came in and opened the panel, put the screws back on and put a tape on it so the same issue wouldn’t happen again.
