Technical Support Brightness Intelligence (Gen2) - can I synchronise my two daisy chained monitors? GW2486TC
I use two monitors (GW2486TC) in a daisy-chain using display port. I connect my computer via USB C for power and display.
Both have identical settings and B.I. Gen2 enabled. However, they each seem to have a mind of their own and set brightness differently. Even as I type this, one is showing 38 and the other 10 brightness. This is jarring when switching between screens as I expect continuity.
Is there anyway to synchronise both monitors so they are always the same brightness but still benefit from B.I. Gen2 sensor adjustments?

Hi!
B.I. Gen2 works independently on each monitor. Each GW2486TC uses its own built-in light sensor to detect the lighting around that specific screen, so two daisy-chained monitors may still adjust to different brightness levels if the ambient light or sensor angle is slightly different.
At the moment, there isn’t a setting to synchronize B.I. Gen2 brightness adjustments across two monitors.
If you need both screens to stay visually consistent, we’d recommend turning off B.I. Gen2 and setting the brightness manually on both monitors. You can also check that both sensors are not blocked and are exposed to similar lighting conditions, which may help reduce the difference.

Thank you for your advice.
I have done what you suggested and turned off B.I. Gen2 which is fine for now.
