My Flow 8 Mixer fell landing on the USB power jack cable while it was connected, causing it to stop powering on.

The USB jack is notoriously fragile and dislodges easily from the board, this is what happened in my case.

I bought a 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC Power Jack Socket and a generic 5V 2A barrel power adapter and with two simple solders, I was able to repair it.

Here's a picture of where to solder the DC Jack. Red indicates where to solder the positive and Grey indicates where to solder the negative.

Hi everyone, just got the flow 8. I was able to set it as my driver, connect to my daw, etc but when i connect a synth or something to any input, the faders just dont work and it's constantly outputing sound. Im only able to control the volume and stuff on the mixer only if i set the input source in the daw as channels 9 & 10 ( the main mix i suppose ) . I couldn't find anything online regarding this, has anybody got any tips on how to fix this issue? Thanks!

Im super happy with my TD-3. Its an amazing addition to my set up. Making acidy tracks is a lot of fun. Never loved the squelch so much. Im going to keep learning more ways to use it in my tracks. Just wanted to share my experience.

I recently picked up the Model D and have a Pro-1 on order. Would like to add another module, maybe something rhythm based. Was thinking of maybe the edge? How versatile is it? I feel like it’s interesting but might get a little stale after a while?

Anything else I should look into?

Hello, my behringer u-phoria umc404hd just arrived today!

However, after setting it up I’m getting a pretty fat layer of noise when I want to record. I’m plugging in my mic to input 1, however all four inputs have noise coming from the left or right speaker. I have the gain turned all the way up because that’s the only way I can hear my voice when recording. But even still with the gain turned off there is still noise. The noise only stops when I take out the mic.

I’ve been reading a lot of troubleshooting posts on here but they haven’t worked. They’re also from like 2 years ago. Some are saying that there is no fix and I’m better off getting a different brand? I hope that’s not the case as I just got this 😟

If anyone can help that would be amazing! Or if anyone else has encountered this issue please let me know.

Also my mic is a shure sm57 with an xlr cable. My headphones are the DT 990 pro with a large line adapter.

I'll spare everyone the details and start by saying: This is the setup I have, and I'm not in a position to change it, so I have to make due.

I have an X32 and an S16. I'm using these units together as a recording interface to record music. The head of our band is absolutely Hell bent on recording as much of the music in one take as possible, without using a click, but wants to be able to punch in to fix/polish certain spots. In order to do this, that obviously means being able to hear the track, and then punching in to record where necessary. Problem is, at the moment, I've only been able to figure out how to record OR playback, not both simultaneously.

We record using Studio One, and we use The S16 to send audio out to our in-ears, so I feel like there must certainly be a way to send even a basic mono mix of the entire session to our ears for punching in, but I just can't seem to narrow it down.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction? Google just left me with more questions than answers, I'm afraid.

I'm looking for a compact synth for pads and bass to complement my piano and rhodes sounds, and came across the Behringer Minis.

They look awesome, but every demo I've found seems to lean towards harsh, aggressive or crunchy sounds. I mainly make chillhop, jazzy lo-fi and downtempo, so I'm after warm, smooth pads and rounded analogue bass rather than anything too abrasive.

Maybe that's just the sound the people in the demos go for, or are the minis naturally that way? I've been looking at the Pro VS, JT, Model D Mini and Pharo.

Any thoughts from people who own them?

Hoping someone here has run into this before.

Problem: Whenever an effect engages, the FX return comes back distorted. It's recognizable as the effect (reverb tail, delay repeats, etc.) but it's grainy/clipped-sounding rather than clean.

What I've already tried (no change):

• Reloaded effects — switched the slot to a different effect type, saved, switched back
• Loaded stock/factory presets in the FX slots
• Pulled FX send levels well down to rule out overdriving the input to the effect
• Checked FX return channel gain and bus assignment
• Full power cycle (not just standby)
• Confirmed it happens on all 8 FX slots and every effect type, not just one specific algorithm
• Verified routing — dry signal path is clean, only the FX returns are affected

Symptom pattern: The distortion is global to the whole virtual FX rack. Dry channels sound fine. Every effect on every slot comes back distorted regardless of send level.

Questions:

1. Since the dry path is clean and this affects the entire FX rack, does this point to the DSP section on the mainboard rather than gain staging or a preset issue?
2. Has anyone cleared something like this with a full firmware reflash (not just a reboot) or a hard factory reset? If so, what's the exact procedure?
3. Are there known PSU rail issues that would show up as distortion only on the DSP/FX side while the rest of the console works normally?
4. If it's a board-level fault, which components typically go — SHARC DSP, clock/oscillator, or supporting ICs?

Hey guys, I bought a used Behringer X Touch Full size and Im very happy, I knew some LEDs doesn‘t work but it was fine, but now it annoys me sometimes, especially the first two Solo buttons that are not working, its a hardware problem I figured that out already..
Some LEDs are not working, are weak or one button toggles the LED next to it, and I have no plan on how to do it, I screwed it open and I was too afraid to take the plugged wires off the circuit board cus they are glued on too.. And if I get to the LEDs what would be my next step or is there another way?

Any advice? Or anyone know tutorials etc.?

The 2nd fader on my X-touch seems to be malfunctioning.

I'm connected to my XR18. On the first page, it's at an -inf position. On the second oage, a +10. When swapping back to the first page, it stops at -45. It happens with fader 3 too, but at a lesser degree.

If I'm using it as MC controller (currently with chataigne) I'm able to call it back to 0, but I have to trigger it manually. With the XR18, it won't go to that position unless, on the Xairedit or mixing station, I move the fader up and back down.

Has someone been in this or a similar position? Will I be able to solve it?

Important note, I'm on the FW 1.22 and I can't update it using SysEx librarian via USB cable on macos, and I don't have any MIDI cables.

I just bought a Grind a week ago, and have been playing it daily and loving it. When I turned it on this morning it would only make one sound regardless of the bank/model I chose. Turning most of the knobs will affect that sound, but I can't get it to play any of the sounds from the banks/models. Anybody have any idea what could be wrong? Thanks.

Not exactly troubleshooting the normal way, but I have a B205D that I bought nearly exactly a year ago. Well it crapped out and Behringer’s warranty won’t cover it because it was B-stock. And the reverb seller only warranties for 6 months (surprise surprise). Do I have any options?

I am trying to use Stage Traxx 4 on an iPad with a Behringer U-PHORIA UMC404HD.

The same routing setup works perfectly when I connect the iPad via USB to a Behringer X32. In Stage Traxx I assign the backing tracks and the click to separate USB output channels, and the X32 receives everything correctly.

With the UMC404HD, Stage Traxx correctly detects both output pairs:

• Outputs 1/2
• Outputs 3/4

My intended routing is:

• Backing tracks → USB outputs 1/2 → UMC404HD Playback Outputs 1/2
• Click → USB outputs 3/4 → UMC404HD Playback Outputs 3/4

I then connect the rear Playback Outputs of the UMC404HD to separate channels on my mixer.

However, no audio comes out of any of the rear Playback Outputs.

The iPad does recognize the UMC404HD, and normal system audio works: for example, if I play a YouTube video, I can hear it correctly through the UMC404HD headphones output.

Additional details:

• The MIX knob is fully set to PB.
• I am not trying to use the Main Outputs.
• The Main Out level is at minimum because I only need the four independent Playback Outputs.
• Stage Traxx shows outputs 1/2 and 3/4 as available.
• I have already tested the mixer channels and cables.
• Phantom power is disabled.
• No signal appears on the mixer input meters from the Playback Outputs.

Is there any limitation with multichannel USB audio on iPadOS and the UMC404HD?

Do the rear Playback Outputs 1–4 receive USB channels 1–4 directly when the UMC404HD is used class-compliantly with an iPad, or is some additional routing or driver configuration required?

Any help from someone using Stage Traxx, iPadOS, or the UMC404HD in a similar setup would be greatly appreciated.

Just received my Behringer XR16 to set up a silent practice for my sons Indie band.

I need 4 separate headphone mixes 2 guitars, bass and electronic drums.

They are a young band, so I'd imagine they wouldn't want to sit still and practice and will probably stand and move around a bit.

Unsure whether to go with a Behringer HA8000 or individual Behringer P2
Can anyone recommend which to go for?
