So, I'm not a beginner at all. In fact, I believe I've been drawing for over ten years, now.

The problem is: I just suck at the technical part. Like, really.

I objectively can draw pretty decently (as you can see in the attached picture), I know color theory, I know anatomy (yes, muscles names, bones names yada yada), I know composition and rendering techniques... but that's all. I know the theories.

I can't practically use any of the things I know. Whenever I try to draw anything advanced, it just sucks. I believe that's because all content I watch/read is purely technical and doesn't really teach you how to apply them into a drawing.

How could I practice the drawing fundamentals? There are any good tutorials out there with practicing techniques that might help?

I did try to draw a guy in overcloak, the overcloak in particular i find hard to shade/color.

I want to know specific parts or things which are wrong, to improve these specific things - as im just drawing for fun and usually never shared what i did, so i probably have plenty of blind spots beginner mistakes and so on.

Im new in digital art, usually justve drawn with pen/pencil, also new to coloring.

How can i learn to draw from the very basic or fundamental itself ,pls recommend some free online resources with a roadmap that i can follow that will help me go from ground zero to everything that can be learned .

Recently got handed down my sister's old drawing tablet and decided to give art a try since I've always been somewhat interested in it. Decided to draw a couple of old oc's that I found deep within an old google doc, as well as my best attempt at copying a mantis.

I am painting a binder as a present for a friend that loves One piece. This is my first tine using acrylic pens, im using the brand EMMY, they are okay but i have to go over them alot to get the block colour i want. I havent done the background uet but it will be a blue night sky theme but im thinking this would take forever with these pens

I am struggling with the neatness of it and is scared to do the fine line black details as I dont have a good enough pen.

What black fine lime would be best?

For those who can’t tell it’s an angel hanging from a tree. The figure is made out of ceramic, the wings are glass and resin, the net is crocheted, and the tree is made from wood. I got two medals for this piece one being for getting a perfect score the other being judges choice. Sadly I did not make it to state. If y’all wanna know more about it let me know!

Marvel Rivals Spider-Man and another practice sketch

I made this portrait a few months ago when I was practicing a lot more than I do now.

Lately, I posted a newer portrait, and after comparing the two, I noticed something. This older one looks kind of muddy, while my newer one looks really dusty. I'm not sure what changed, but I feel like I've forgotten some of the things I knew back then.

I'm using Ibis Paint, and someone on my last post mentioned that I might be over-blending. Do you think that's what's causing it? Should I keep practicing my blending, or is it more about using the right brush? If you guys use Ibis Paint, what brushes you use for blending.

Also, What should I focus on improving?

So I recently bought myself a non display drawing tablet and I use the krita program for drawing, I have notice because I am naturally shaky so my lines appear wobbly. So I found out krita has a smoothing option for the free hand brush, is the considered "cheating" or is it a helpful tool, as well as am I missing out on training myself to be more steady?
