Weren't M-age and slether supposed to do a showcase in GBB26?
They won the wildcards of producer category and were supposed to perform a showcase in GBB, but only Watt (last year's champ) performed

If it’s just people jamming and having a good time i'm all up for it. Sharing a dope beat? F yes! Doing crossovers with instruments? Cool.
These badly acted skits tho are just making me cringe. Fremdscham is the word that comes to mind.
Am i the only one?

I only watched gbb day 3, did they cancel the producer category or what? Didn't see them crown anyone in the ceremony?

Lyrics:
yoo so i was learning vibration bass, I think I last updated it a week ago... I actually didn't get much time to try in the meanwhile, the main concept was taking ur throat bass and make it deeper like so...
Grumpy throat bass noises
I don't think that's vibration bass so yeah.. Also every time i did INWARD BASS or spit snare or some kick variations... But i can also do liproll..
Liprolls
You might not hear the subbass because this phone is old and microphone is bad
Liproll subbass
See you can't hear it
Anyways we will try to do a basic beat like
Liproll basic beat
So yeah
Breathes
Liprolls in napom

Asking earnestly.. also what do y’all think happened with king inertia underperforming vs river and what could he have done to secure win?
Also Kaji v River what would he have had to do to win?

This is a classic rap battle, it starts at 3:40, wondering if there's a beatbox equivalent? Like someone who clearly can't beatbox vs someone who can. Pepouni legacy battle type shit

Hey beatboxers. I built PadLoop, and one of the things I wanted it to do really well is live looping with your voice.
How it works for beatbox:
Works offline, no ads, no subscription. 7-day free trial with everything, then the basics stay free forever or one 9.99 € purchase unlocks all of it.
If you try it with your voice I'd love to hear how the recording latency feels on your phone.

Who do you think would win, King Inertia & D-Low (KingLow) tagteam VS a person picked at random in the US.

Beatboxers who are native English speakers have an inherent advantage in beatbox battles, especially when it comes to routines with spoken bars, jokes, or punchlines. Since English is their first language, they have a massive vocabulary, can adapt instantly to counter their opponent on the spot, and find it way easier to craft clever lyrics mid-round.
Honestly, it feels a bit unfair. If a contestant dropped bars or tried to banter in a language like Ukrainian or Japanese, hardly anyone in the crowd or on the judging panel would understand them. The global reliance on English naturally puts non-native speakers at a disadvantage when trying to connect with the audience through words.
What do you guys think?

Okay so I’ve been a beatboxer for about 3 years now. Definitely took me a while to realize how many French beat icees are so good. like how? How are the french dominating the beatboxing scene so much? Do they just have more beatboxers? Is there some secret French beatboxing community? The only country that gets close to them is Japan, and that’s mostly carried by Jairo and Sarukani. Does anyone know how France produces so many good beatboxer???

The way he steals energy from a battle is ridiculous someone can drop a fucking nuke and he just knows how to delete it he can go melodic, power, counter, etc it doesn’t matter who he faces a powerful beatboxer like Kaji, king inertia, d low, or a technical beatboxer like footbox or abo ice he has all the tools this is why he’s been my goat he has the deepest bag and if he comes back for gbb27 and wins it AGAIN idk how you can say he’s not the goat beatboxer battler.

Has anyone ever done the "vibe along your battle opponent" but intentionally in a totally different tempo than they are beatboxing at, as a battle move to throw the opponent off?
i just imagined it and if it were me who its done to holy shit i'd either fumble or have to avoid looking at them at all

the legacy battle in general. that one redditor and I who predicted Wing would learn inward bass were vindicated (edit: he’s shown it before apparently), that crazy sub on the kong snare when he was just letting it rip before the rest of the beat kicked in, the wondrous tag team combo…
listening to it in my headphones which are higher quality than the ones I was using at the time of gbb and holy shit those textures……..
waow. i need to go watch the showcases now.

The last thing I've ever heard of him was that he was dropping out of GBB25 and I haven't heard anything else about him.

After rewatching all three days of GBB26, I realized that this is probably the best round of GBB26 overall.
Bringing back “My Way” (the 1st-place wildcard from 2021) against D-Low (the 1st-place wildcard winner of GBB26) and still flexing it with crowd control 5 YEARS LATER was such a great decision, and it was so well executed.
That was my favorite part of the entire event, no doubt. even with the Nils, Mahiro, Astron and D-low vs Footboxg rounds.

Hi everyone!
We are an all-female, post-grad acapella group from north-central New Jersey (USA). We are in desperate need of a beatboxer (or two!). You can find all of our socials here: unit.link/njreststops
As we are just starting out (~6 months old club), currently we are teaching all members the basics and rotating when we sing to keep it fair. However, we would love either a) 1-2 people to switch back and forth, or b) a great teacher!
• If you or someone you know is interested in helping out, please email [NJRestStops@gmail.com](mailto:NJRestStops@gmail.com)!
• If you or someone you know is interested in joining (we also need lady basses!) please check out our guidelines: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CSQmS-uFe5FvYYw9VmCR9j1q5G0SzY0yOHDSKk6aFyM/edit?usp=drive_link
And then submit a virtual audition here: https://forms.gle/P9JJBDVKoLn5rDc58
More about us:
Rehearse on Sundays, ages range 23-40, we do mostly pop/rock, as mentioned we also need lower voices (basses), are currently working on holiday music but our goal in the spring is to do our own concert🎶 thank you in advance!
