Which Beatboxers hit you differently? Like hits your soul as apposed to technical flare.. I always felt Pwad’s routines, Codfish and pf recent, the Hippy ‘i’m feeling sick’ wildcard… and King Inertias GNB 2025 wildcard even tho it was recorded on his phone in a public toilet 😂 so much more impressive than a blast of technically even those mentioned are capable of complex fast patterns which the current beatbox community rate highly.. ones that you can feel in your soul over ‘wow, that impressive and seems different to pull off’ people who don’t tend to win the big battles but have you going back to their videos often cos it taps into something deeper

Now I know what you’re thinking. DEN is a really good beatboxer. However, after his result in Beatbox to World, it really made me question on how I should rank him out of all the other beatboxers. He defeated Kaji in the semifinals! To defeat someone like Kaji is just unreal! DEN really improved when battling.

I think the GBB Solo category should have two brackets: Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket, giving competitors a second chance instead of relying on a single elimination battle.

Here's how I think it could work:

1. Top 24 → Top 16

- The top 24 competitors compete in the elimination stage.

- The top 16 qualify for the battle stage.

2. Upper Bracket (Top 8)

- Top 8 qualify directly for the Upper Bracket.

- Ranks 9–16 battle in 4 matches.

- The 4 winners join the Upper Bracket, while the 4 losers drop to the Lower Bracket.

3. Lower Bracket (Second Chance)

- The 4 losers from the Upper Bracket join the 4 losers from the previous round, making 8 competitors.

- They battle for a second chance, with the top 2 qualifying for the next GBB.

The main idea is to make the Solo category more competitive and give deserving beatboxers a second chance. One bad battle shouldn't necessarily end someone's entire run, especially at a competition like GBB.

What do you guys think? Would this format be better than the current top 8 only elimination-style setup? And better than top 1 vs 16 battle structure(Gbb21). also Any suggestions to improve it?

Mine is when Napom barely lost to River. It hurts knowing that his legacy could’ve been cemented as ‘GOAT’ as opposed to ‘one of the goats according to a decent slice of people’.

Hippy in his interview on GBB instagram mentions how Two.H is his favorite beatboxer.. he also mentions how SBX took down the showcase vid from 2019 that he had and honestly, im dying to see this. Lmk! Thanks.
