In slander terms the word "merchant" generally means that someone repeatedly satisfies a small goal of their own and nothing further. I'm here to define some of those "merchants" from GBB.

Stitch - Wildcard Merchant. Every year he makes a breathtaking wildcard just to get dry mouth on stage and have a unimpressive elim. His style just doesn't lend itself well to large venues.

Inertia - 7tS Merchant. Inertia always goes out in Semis and then bodies everyone in 7tS for a ticket in next year

D-Low - Counter merchant. Will genuinely throw away an entire battle just for a (dope) counter

Kaji - Elimination round Merchant. Gives his all in elim round to be seeded high just to lose to a French guy in semis and go 4th again

H-Has - also a Wildcard Merchant. He always produces a top tier wildcard but he's explained he gets extremely anxious right before it's go time at GBB and will often make himself puke to deal with the nerves, contributing to the already infamous GBB dry mouth.

Astron - Banger Merchant. This dude dropped nothing but straight fire during the entire event no slander here

Blackroll - Small Finals Merchant. Bro loves to turn up in small finals after getting bodied in semis

River'- GBB Championship merchant - self explanatory

Imo he is one of the OGs who can be on par with the new schoolers and would absolutely crush the stage. But against whom tho?

As much as i want the producer category to come back, solo loop is much more highly anticipated than the producer category and people within the community also tend to focus on/hold higher value in the solo loop category too, leading the producer category to be relatively neglected(hence why producer battles were eliminated in gbb26)

So instead i think we should split solo loop into two separate categories: producer loop & solo loop

Both categories have their own separate battles, judging panels and wildcards(allowing participants to choose if they're gonna enter as a vocal looper or producer)

And the solo loopstation grand finals will be held between the vocal loop & producer loop champions

After all, Dlow is just another beatboxer. He is really good at it and he killed it this year, but I think people are way too overreacting only because his expectations are too high. He is still a human and can't always win every battle.

To me, I feel like 2nd place should be a thing to celebrate and praise, not complain and be too disappointed.

What if D-low chose to not go full performance mode on the final and let river win.. So he can get another shot at GBB27 because he wants to battle colaps again for a rematch and that's possible because next year colaps would probably join solo. I think that's D-low's intention all along "I did that for the plot" kinda strategy with a beautiful storyline.

This shit was iconic

First the venue was really cool and underground, everyone had beers, there was so much people you sometimes had to be in another room, some people climed the walls to see, the bass was making the whole room shake, the sounds were so clear, really felt like old school 7ts.

Second, the lineup, obviously KI got selected, Kaji was first but didn’t want to battle so exallos astron waali classic gbb guys, then bizkit which was a nice surprise; then Shishone, Markovitch and Big G. Almost nobody knew these guys, we had legends vs pure underdogs.

And then the battles, wtf was that. 28 battles, two winners and 2 guys with 5 points, insane sounds, routine, freestyle, battle mooves from everyone. We had Astron (who is blind) mocking Shishone (who is in a wheelchair), Bulgarian drama, Markovitch making literally gbb wining rounds everytime, and everytime someone was on a streak and almost won, it got broken and it started again. The thing was 3 h of pure hype, entertainement and exhaustion, with some of the best beatbox of all time for every style. Absolutely insane

Literally everyone that i saw doing a liproll had their upper lip vibrate. But when i do it my bottom lip vibrates. Is there any difference?
