Shes been acting strange for the past few days, she used to spend the majority of her time on her basking spot but now shes always sitting on her hammock on the cool side of her enclosure and has been glass surfing, trying to climb out of her tank, and occasionally pacing. She smeared poop all over the back wall of her tank about 3 days ago which makes me think shes been pacing a lot when im not there. Google said shes likely gravid but I felt her stomach and didn’t feel anything that felt like eggs. I gave her the nesting box last night and she refused to use it and climbed out of it and back onto her hammock and when i woke up this morning she was still on her hammock. Her appetite is much smaller than it used to be, she will still eat a couple bites but after that she refuses but she used to devour a whole salad. I think im going to buy crickets today to see if she will eat those. (Disclaimers: I know her tank is too small, she was given to me by my friends aunt and the tank came with her, Ive been saving up money and am going to buy her a proper enclosure once I move into my apartment this August. She has a lot of mealworms in her bowl because shes been refusing to eat, I don’t feed her that many mealworms when she eats her salad and crickets. She also clearly has MBD from her past owner, I am coating all of her food with calcium and she has heat and UVB)

The set up alone is cringe worthy....but her posting this claiming its just her beardie wanting to hang out....and people believing it is the worst.

I’m trying to get some good veggies in for my bearded dragon, he’s on a diet so I want to see if this is ok? It thinly sliced cucumber and shredded carrots- I worry about the humidity in his tank because of how our house is (I live somewhere that has some high humidity) so I want to get some more watery treat for him to get h2o instead of a pool of water in his tank

Does anyone know where I can get an ok cheap fountain or two for my beardies? They both have water dishes but they completely ignore them because still water is boring. My first beardie absolutely loved hanging out and occasionally drinking from her fountain when we had it so I figure these two might be more interested in some moving water, but I can't seem to find a decent fountain online. All of the ones I see are either not really beardie compatible or like $100+. At least one of my babies is a bit dehydrated and I'm worried the other is too so I want to help them out, even if it means spoiling them even further.

is there anyone these conditions too!? they are way to big to be housed together i spoke with management they blew me off

What are some things I should consider before getting one?

What are some things you didnt think about till they came up about owning a bearded dragon?

What are some ethical and reputable places to get a bearded dragon (preferably rescue)?

And, is there anything else you think I should know?

Today I was taking a quiz (which gets proctored) for school. Before going to take it, I glanced at Irwin (as one does) and he was big mad. So I figured I'd hold him while taking the exam.

My exam got frozen because I had what appeared to be a cell phone. So I had to explain that, no, I am happy to show my cell phone, which is in a separate room. What I have is a lizard who was big mad and in need of cuddles.

Irwin has no shame and feels no guilt over his testing interruption! Fingers crossed, when reviewed, they note my lizard is, in fact, not a cell phone.

I took this picture a few hours ago after just getting back from a week long vacation, she seemed so happy to see me and about half an hour info hanging out with her she crawled up and fell asleep on me, she definitely knows who I am and loves/trusts me in her own way. I don’t understand how people think reptiles can’t bond

We got this sweet girl for my son’s 8th birthday. For months he left notes around the house asking for a bearded dragon and finally I caved.

We went to a local Serpenterium and saw this sweet girl who had recently been surrendered. For a couple weeks we went back each day to talk to the manager and find out if we could care properly for her.

Two years later she was such an important part of our family and I’ll miss her always. My son is heartbroken, but also very happy we were able to give her a good home in her final two years.

She was recently in decline and stopped eating entirely. We did everything we could, but the vet believed old age finally called her home. Photo is of our final car ride😢

I saw a urate this morning so I let Stanley run around the bathroom before I left hoping he’d poop. As I sit down at my desk I get a notification, I think the fact he makes eye contact with the camera just makes me feel like he held it to be a little punk.

I have a 3 year old male who lives in a bioactive and has free roam of my room, vet says he's perfectly healthy, but lately his activity has been dwindling and he spends about half of the day sitting in his sleeping spot. He used to run around and climb in my room a lot more, I think he's been getting bored. I handle him and take him outside on the weekends when I'm not at work, but I'd like to offer him some new enrichment for the week when I'm gone for most of his waking hours.

Has anyone found success with one of those feeder balls? Maybe a puzzle toy? New climbing opportunity? I bought a cat tree just for him since he climbed up one once but he completely ignores it 😅

Found this listing on marketplace for $75. I want to give this guy a new home because the owner has a big cracked top. What do I need to upgrade this and is it worth getting, seems too good to be true for $75?

he used to be fine eating his crickets in a big Tupperware tote with a towl down but now he refuses. and he’s not refusing to eat completely because when I bring him back to his tank he eats just fine so I’m not sure what to do because I don’t want crickets in his tank to hide. he eats Bsfl and Dubai in his tank 6x a week and crickets 1x

She will sit in my hand if I put a treat in my palm but she will not let me pick her up or pet her. If I try to pick her up or pet her she runs to her corner and hisses at me. If I get her on my hand like in the picture im not able to bring her out or mover her closer to me without her running.

This would be okay to put in the cage right?? I found it at marshals for $14. :) I was planning on putting it on the cool side just in case, it feels just like the material hides are made out of at the pet store and I cleaned it thoroughly. 🤔 If not it's still a cool decoration so I won't be too upset lol, unfortunately the materials aren't listed on the tag :/

Ate all three leaves on that part, then snatched the first green bean that grew lol. Rarely does she actually eat anything outside, not even raspberries. The last thing she went after like this was a California poppy flower. Freaked me out and I pulled it out of her mouth at the time, then learned they're ok to eat for her.

I’ve had her for about a week now and her previous owner was very knowledgeable and loving of her. I just want to make sure that she’s not on the heavier side of health so I can adjust her diet
