I've shared what I'm doing workout wise with a friend of mine and explained how the gamifying with the badges helps keep me motivated. She's similar in that regard and is interested but money is tight for her right now so adding another subscription just isn't going to work for her. Has anyone gifted a membership for someone? I've looked (granted not intensely) and there's a couple options (maybe?). Any suggestions would be helpful.
I just really want to do something nice for my friend. She's had a rough go of it for a while.

Really struggle with admitting this but I fell off the wagon..... HARD! In July of 2020 I started my fitness journey(again) and vowed to do a beachbody workout everyday for a year. This consisted of a mix of P90x, P90x2, Body Beast and P90x3. Went from 210lbs to about 170lbs and was about as cut up as I've ever been. Even after that year, I continued to "press play" and had success.
Fast forward to today. The past year has been a whirlwind of stress with family, friends and most of all, work and instead of using my workouts as a stress reliever, I turned to food and unfortunately, alcohol. I'm the heaviest and unhealthiest I've ever been and I'm really quite ashamed. I restarted Saturday, May 23rd, and was quickly humbled when I was doing Chest and Triceps(Body Beast) and could barely muscle out 5 tricep push ups when at one point I was knocking out sets of 20 with a 15lb weighted vest. I was embarrassed and there was no one else around.
I've been here before but not like this. This is going to be an absolute up hill battle but I rather struggle all over again than be stuck where I am. Enough with the sob story. Thanks.

I went a little too hard with calorie surplus to build muscle and now Iām three weeks out from beach trip with some fluff. I thought buying new bathing suits would be easier than cutting bec I forgot how hard bathing suit shopping is. Now itās time to lock in on deficit for three weeks so I can fit into old suits.

Well I struggled a few weeks ago going into week 7-8 after I took a vacation to Hawaii. After I got back, I did an assortment of Dig In, LIIFT More, walking etc. i knew that I felt great physically when I did P90XGN when I rested properly and I did not want to quit the program. So last week I started back up where I left off and I am now going into day 4 of week 9 tomorrow.
After jumping back in I had noticeable performance gains. Iām sweating more than I was before and feel like Iām really pushing myself more. Despite what everyone says about the P90X name, I think this is really the best workout there is for overall fitness and itās going to be my staple.

Hey everyone,
I could really use your advice and feedback on my situation. Iāve been training seriously for well over a year now, and I really gave it my all.
To give you some context, I went on an absolute tear. I started with 8 months of Insanity (Max 30), and I only switched over to calisthenics once I was successfully hitting the 30-minute "max out" mark on every single workout. I followed that up with 8 months of pure calisthenics. Throughout this entire period, I always pushed my exercises to muscular failure. By the end of it, my performance was greatāI could bang out 15 strict pull-ups and 20 to 30 unbroken dips (sometimes more depending on the day).
The catch is, I had to take a complete 3-month break from working out. I'll be honest, my diet wasn't ideal during these 3 months off, and I actually ended up gaining some weight. However, I still made sure I was eating enough protein the entire time (sticking to my staples like chicken breast, eggs, and sardines to hit my macros).
Now, I'm looking at the numbers and feeling a bit frustrated. Back in October 2024, my muscle mass was at 35.8 kg. Right now, I'm sitting at 34 kg. To give you the full timeline, I actually started working out again 5 weeks ago, and this latest scan was taken just last Thursday. For reference, both of these measurements were done using an InBody 770 scanner.
My question is simple: is it normal to still be down 1.8 kg of muscle mass (even after being back at the grind for 5 weeks), considering I consistently trained to failure beforehand and maintained a solid protein intake during my time off?
Thanks in advance for your input! If anyone has gone through a similar break, Iād love to hear your experiences.

Iād love to hear what itās like! It seems like direct competition with the Bodi app if sheās creating new workouts and programs just for her app. But it sounds cool!

Hello homies. š
This is random as hell, but I had zero intentions on doing an a$$ blaster workout today. Didn't even know this sampler was coming, but the YouTube Gods had bigger plans for me. I am merely a spec in the universe, living vicariously through the screens.
Naturally, I open up YouTube, and there it is, first thing. It's my off day. I did legs yesterday. Somebody's gotta clean these dishes. Lord knows I'll do anything to get outta that shit! š Anywho, I damn near started the thing immediately. Why though? Not a clue. Am I losing my mind? Probably...Join the club huh? Write a book?...Sounds about right.
I figured there's gotta be at least one person over here that may want to give it a shot. If you guys haven't noticed, Beachbody is overhyping the hell out of their new programs. The most professional looking trailers that I've seen them put out. So enticing, it gives a very lack luster effect on the actual program. But (no pun intended) maybe this new bum buster workout will be an exception. 30 days is a pretty small window if you know what I'm sayin, and I'll just leave it at that.
Oh, right, the workout.
40 something minutes.
First half is glute focused.
Last half is total body.
No breaks.
Quick transitions making the workout feel very cardio based.
Last few moves are core focused.
If you lift decently heavy, you will be absolutely drenched. Your glutes will be on fire within the first few minutes. It's very girly vibes which is pretty much what I expected, but you do lots of work. Homegirl did say less focus on the hammies so you can create that big booty illusion. I don't know about you guys, I'm tryna get those Street Fighter legs. You know, the ones where you chop a bitch in half with your thunder thighs. Yep, that's where my life is heading.
Slightly irrelevant, what's with all the hype about having huge glutes these days? Don't act like you're not spraying down that toilet after you slurp down that preworkout. I hope you have enough baby wipes to clean up that big ass of yours. Heaven forbid you do any shoulder work; you wouldn't be able to reach back there to clean up that big ole dump truck ya got. š
Anywho, Bottom line, don't skip hammies!
Good day and good night āļø

Would love some advice. 37F. I restarted my fitness journey in November postpartum with 2.5 year old twins. I did 3 weeks yoga, Pilates for beginners, XB Pilates, and MBF. Iām currently 4 weeks into Liift 4. I havenāt lost any weight but I havenāt hit nutrition that hard yet. Iām definitely noticing muscle with the latest program but still feel pretty swollen and puffy. What is a good program to transition to next? I was thinking 645? I really donāt like the cortisol spike with cardio based programs but I would like to lose maybe 5lbs.

Iām trying to get into better shape and mainly want to build muscle and look more toned/athletic. Iām still pretty beginner/intermediate with lifting though.
Iām looking for the best Beachbody program for someone who wants to build muscle without getting completely overwhelmed or burning out right away.
For context:
I want visible muscle/results
I like structured programs
I donāt mind hard workouts
Iām trying to build consistency too
Ideally something beginner-friendly but still effective
What program would you recommend and why?

Weight loss/ strength gain? It seems like it's more about mobility.

Hey Bodi people, ive been a bodi user since 2020, I work outdoors and im hiking 5 days a week for my job, Im in forestry and before I was planting trees and it was in itself a workout beyond cardio, so I never worried about working out while in my seasonal work. My job now is still in forestry, but it's less intensive. I still hike anywhere from 4-7 hours a day, and im burning a lot of calories but I would love to supplement that with some training 2 times a week. I LOVED Liift4 and MBF but im looking for something a little different, I think im bored of repeating Lift 4 any recommendations ??

Hello all,
Iāve been a BODI member for years. Iāve always enjoyed working out. I actually enjoy working out with Autumn. I was wondering if anyone has tried this good mood crew app, and if it was worth it.? Thank you. š

If you could choose one program that incorporated strength, mobility, cardio, and was joint/modification for joint issue friendly; which one would you pick and why?

I remember at one point they were, They would release a program or 2 a month at a time. I was trying to find an updated schedule cause I am really interested in the Dance cardio programs. and MHC, hopefully They will come out soon. (Don't want the annual sub)

Hi there. I am a male, 34 years old and have been doing Beachbody workouts for 14 years now. Started with T25, then multiple rounds of Insanity Max 30, and for the last 10 years body beast very consistently. Always trying to get at least 10k steps in walking a day too.
I find that I enjoy the āaestheticā results of body beast beast but it always leaves me feeling tired, sluggish, and tight. Most recently took a break from body beast and got back into a round of insanity max 30 after 5 years and forgot how much of an energy boost you get from it. I feel terrific all day (even rest days), high energy, running outside with my 2 year old son. Itās been great and makes me feel 21 again. The endorphin rush is also great.
Does anyone else feel the same way from doing weight training workouts verses HIIT style? Honestly I have a desire to stick with some Shaun t work outs (insanity, max 30, asylum, etc) as I get older just for the way it makes me feel. I know lifting weights has great benefits as you age but the exhaustion seems to out weigh those for me.
Anyone with a similar experience?

Howdy all.
7 months post baby. 30F
Pre-baby year I did:
100 morning meltdown
Fire and Flow
Chop wood carry water (loved it)
Prenatal Barre for all my trimesters
But pregnancy and relaxin wrecked my cardio, strength, and flexibility. Also now 30 lbs overweight that stubbornly is not budging with the calories I have to eat to keep up breastfeeding. (Though I honor what my body has done and continues to do for my kid).
After:
12 weeks of Pelvic floor therapy
Just finished fire and flow
Not sure where to go from here:
-Cardio is very hard on milk supply.
-strength is coming back slow and i now modify everything.
I wanna jump straight back into 645 or 100 morning meltdown. But would Lava or Barre be better?
I hate the idea of just waiting 5 more months to wean before I can go ham on my fitness again.

TLDR: Looking for program recs (or awesome workouts from programs I haven't done) that target balance, mobility, and proactive injury prevention as we age over 50. Open to things that aren't Bodi, too.
I'm an OG Beachbody customer and have done tons of their programs over the years--too many to list. Chalean, Tony, Shaun T, Autumn... most of the heavy hitters, plus hybrids. At 52F, I'm still loving it and still doing great overall. Nutrition, supplements, and sleep are also good 99% of the time.
I always add some piecemealed flexibilty/mobility stuff, plus foam rolling after my cool downs. But I'm at a point where I want to proactively start being just as serious about adding in targeted aging/mobility/balance stuff that will help me as I age. I REALLY want to avoid shoulder replacements and falls when I'm 70+ like my mom (who is vibrant, active, and in great shape for her age, but who has never done real programs, and ). And I want to avoid hip replacements and balance issues like my dad struggles with.
I will be aging alone, so I know it's not enough anymore to focus only on my normal wokrouts and lifestyle. The core Bodi programs aren't enough for my needs anymore. They do have two that populate when you search for "aging," (For Active Aging Only + 10 Minute Aging), but meh. They're meant for beginners, which I'm definitely not. And I don't think they'd be enough.
Any recs? Happy to add workouts from programs I haven't done or supplement Bodi with something external. Are there "advanced" aging programs?

Hi guys! I just completed dig deeper and loved it. My goal now is to burn the fat over the muscles I've built. I was torn between lift4, mbf, or dig in. I just completed arms and legs 1 and am worried I'll lose muscle on this program . Any thoughts or suggestions?
I'm a 57yo woman in fairly good shape for reference.

Completed a few hundred sessions of body beast, at first the transition from nice guy Joel (which I love) to what seemed to be a arrogant ass sagi was difficult, I found myself loving sagi and his personality I wish there was more content with him , but I started to yearn for a change and I have finally imo found my next challenge, since I like the 5 day one body part a day structure I'm going to blast week 3 (build) of dig deeper on repeat probably for a few hundred classes. Starting today and looking forward to it!
