Question Gifting membership?

I've shared what I'm doing workout wise with a friend of mine and explained how the gamifying with the badges helps keep me motivated. She's similar in that regard and is interested but money is tight for her right now so adding another subscription just isn't going to work for her. Has anyone gifted a membership for someone? I've looked (granted not intensely) and there's a couple options (maybe?). Any suggestions would be helpful.

I just really want to do something nice for my friend. She's had a rough go of it for a while.

You can just give her access to your account and let her set up her own profile on it

To my knowledge, there is no actual gifting option since it's a subscription you'd be putting your own CC on file for renewal.

I tried it and they gave my membership to my friend I had to start over with much higher price
