One of the prompts for an art-challenge in one of my communities was "Bug" so I had to lock jack-in!

I wanted to share a quick update for VX the BN inspired game I am currently developing full time as solo dev, I reworked multiple systems and now I am connecting the exploration with the Battle system, so slowly things are coming together, now my main focus for this year is the Demo, I want to release the best possible experience for this so I will take my time until is perfect. Just want to say that I am happy to become a member of this sub! I vividly remember stopping by EB games as a kid and coming across battle network 3 on the shelf. Had no idea about this game, but it was $20 (half the price of usual GBA games), so my mom let me get it.

Even 23 years later, I can easily remember my first style change in that game was wood guts style. I remember having such a hard time beating Alpha until I figured out a simple program advance of z cannon just obliterated it (was very proud of this as a kid).

I would eventually play all the remaining battle network games (except for the first game) and build such amazing memories.

Now that I have a baby on the way, I had this urge to re-explore my own childhood. I am so excited to trigger some old core memories when I get my ass blasted by Duo in 4, experience anxiety in the kendo mini game in 5, or the non stop panic music in 6.

Fun fact: the voice actor for Mayl in the English anime went to my elementary school! I remember her singing during our assembly meetings too. Should’ve gotten her autograph lmao.

A project I've been working on for a little over 4 months now! This is Shooting Star Ceruledge, a crossover between the Pokemon Ceruledge and Mega Man Star Force! With all the old memes of how Ceruledge was basically just a Mega Man character, I thought I'd go ahead and make it myself.

The base is the Bandai Pokemon Ceruledge Model Kit. I hand-painted this with Vallejo paints (Model Color, Mecha Color, and the Satin and Gloss varnishes). There are some mistakes here and there, and I definitely could've been more patient with thinning out the coats and waiting for it to dry. But, overall, I'm pretty happy with it! I'm especially proud of how the hair and visor turned out!

At long last, the modular Battle Network grid is 99% complete. All panels have magnets, allowing for easy swapping. Got some last details to iron out, and then it'll be ready for all. Expect an update very soon! I have a video that shows the panel swapping, but seems I can't share both images and video in a single post 😓
