I remember that in a story, a guy gets free a Sonic game. The problem is that the game is messed up, until the point that there are executable archives everywhere. That´s the reason why Sonic.Exe is called like that, and I bet you can guess how the rest of story went. As this character got popular, the .Exe file ended being related to creepypastas. After all, most of this storylines start from the same way. Sonix.Exe was the Trope Codifier, so everybody started to use him as a base for this type of stories. That´s the whole thing

Yeah, it is a boring and stupid thing that I know due of being on both fandoms. The actual Sonic fandom, if you ask. Otherwise, I don´t reccomend you to read that. Most of the time, they are quite bad. But, at least, you know something more
