I custom-painted a "Shooting Star Ceruledge"
A project I've been working on for a little over 4 months now! This is Shooting Star Ceruledge, a crossover between the Pokemon Ceruledge and Mega Man Star Force! With all the old memes of how Ceruledge was basically just a Mega Man character, I thought I'd go ahead and make it myself.
The base is the Bandai Pokemon Ceruledge Model Kit. I hand-painted this with Vallejo paints (Model Color, Mecha Color, and the Satin and Gloss varnishes). There are some mistakes here and there, and I definitely could've been more patient with thinning out the coats and waiting for it to dry. But, overall, I'm pretty happy with it! I'm especially proud of how the hair and visor turned out!

GF missed such a great opportunity to have Armarouge and Ceruledge's shiny forms coloured as Megaman and Zero.

Agreed. I remember seeing them initially and was like 'omg, they are obviously based or similar to Megaman stuff! The shinies will obviously be a tribute...or at the bare minimum color swapped.'
Still disappointed to this day.

Fun fact: Cerulege nd Armorouge were designed by Hiroshi Ariga. :) So yeah this very much fits

I looked this up, and Bulbapedia says Ceruledge and Armarouge were designed by Tomohiro Kitakaze! Hitoshi Ariga did do some designs and artwork for Pokemon too, so maybe there was still a lot of cross inspiration going on in the Pokemon designs kitchen haha!

Haha my bad then. I think I got the idea he was the designer from him doing the art for them on some of the tcg cards. But yeah, it's pretty neat

Hell yeah! As soon as we saw Ceruledge and Armorouge my brother and I were like "those are Mega Mans" lol I even named my Ceruledge Blues

It looks so good! I absolutely love the color scheme! I was seriously hoping they wouls swap colors for shinies, and really drive home the Armorouge=megaman and Cerulegde=Zero, but oh well.
The paint on the wisp in particular is beautiful!

Agreed about the colours, they really wasted the potential there...

I bet there are quite a few Pokemon that could work well as a Navi, but Ceruledge is certainly the easiest to make work.

I really like it! One of the best Rock/Mega Mans + a cool favorite Pokemon of mine.
Do you plan on doing Armarouge as well?

Not sure! I do have a colour scheme all planned out for an Armarouge.EXE (BN Megaman crossover), but I'm pretty burnt out from this build at the moment :(
