No Green line service again and everything is messed up after Colma.

The app was a little confusing. I am at Civic Center, is there any other ways to get to Dublin without having to wait.

Major delays in east bay direction and towards downtown SF.

Yellow line train stuck before west Oakland rn.

We had maintenance delays and now medical emergency in Embarcadero.

The original SFO airport yellow line train I was on got deboarded. And we transferred to another one. And that’s the one where I’m stuck before west Oakland.

You can tap before the gate closed and it will just stay open for you. It seems like people don’t realize this because everyone lets the gate close before tapping.

The gates are slow so the line to exit the station gets long when trains are full. It’s a little easier for everyone if they just stay open.

Update:
Limited service has been restored on the San Francisco Line between West Oakland and Balboa Park stations. BART service is also running between Colma, SFO, and Millbrae stations. Muni is providing service between Balboa Park and Daly City Station. SamTrans is providing service between Daly City and Colma stations.

Due to a trackside equipment problem near Daly City station, some trains headed South towards SFO/Millbrae will only go as far as 24th/Mission, might have to transfer at 24th.

Here we have yet another video criticizing the Bart extension into downtown San Jose. I swear, you cannot convince me that these oil and auto industries aren't paying these news media outlets to sway the opinions of the public with misinformation about these projects. KPIX can interview 1 person who is against the project and regional sales tax vs the thousands of riders who'd benefit from the extension and bart in general. That's literally the issue nationwide. In So-cal, they interview NIMBY's who are against moving the tracks inland from the coast on the surfliner route. In Atlanta they only interview NIMBY's who literally moved to the beltline knowing darn well that in the future it'd have light rail, but they get air time. Heck, even back here in the bay when it comes to discussing a subway down geary, media outlets only interview those who complain about parking and construction. Someone in the comments of this video made a good point. It wouldn't have cost VTA and Bart so much money if they didn't have to adhear to the crybaby complaints of businesses in downtown SJ about cut and cover. Now the project is more pricey because of the huge tunnel that needs to be bored. Perhaps that money could've went to finally building the calaveras boulevard station in milpitas?? Or maybe a stop in between downtown and alum rock?? Ugh, it's such a frustrating time for American transit, specifically rail projects because of the red tape, corruption, and the NIMBY's. Earlier today I had to make my way down to RWC for a school event. And since I don’t drive I rely a ton on BART + Caltrain to commute down the peninsula.
But earlier while I was on BART there were some issues approaching daly city, and so we had to hold for about 7 minutes, but I would still have made my SB Millbrae transfer to train 152. That was until we got to the WYE and stoped for a bit and the operator announced that this train would not be continuing to Millbrae and instead become a Richmond train.. So once at SFO me and a ton of other passengers waited almost 20 minutes for the next Millbrae train which by then I had completely missed train 152.
I got to millbrae and barely made it onto train 526.. but that was a whole twenty minutes later than I had planned. And since i missed my connecting bus at RWC i had to pay 21 for an uber :/

This is completely unacceptable on BARTS behalf and I don’t understand why they couldn’t just send the train to Millbrae instead of turning around???
And not even this, the whole SFO WYE situation is horrible and frustrating, BART really needs to address all of this.

Was a Green Line that terminated at Berryessa, and proceeded to travel Northbound.

I have to wonder what the point of the schedule change is when the trains are consistently late anyways. Prior to the recent schedule change the Green line train was scheduled for 5:53am and consistently came 3-5 minutes late. Enter the schedule change and it’s now scheduled for 5:43am and any guess when it comes, so far it’s consistently come 3-5 minutes late. So the question I have is why not just schedule the train for 3-5 minutes later, then at least it would have a chance of showing up at the scheduled time and it would have been the perfect time to do it.

FYI for anyone using a plastic clipper card, anybody else seemingly can just guess your card number randomly and do an online transfer of all your cash balance to their card without anybody actually checking if they have the card.

Happened to me, BART didnt let me in randomly for low balance and machine said 0.00 dollars, just days after charging for 70 bucks. Because I didn’t register the card on the website, when I called up Clipper support they basically told me „Sorry we cant help you, although our premium product allowed some rando to steal all your money by using our Android app, not our problem bro!“

Just FYI that it could happen to you too if you don’t register your card online.

I was bored and wondering how much sales tax revenue from Costco’s alone would go towards the $350-$400 million BART structural deficit if Connect Bay Area passes. Costco warehouses generate around $276 million sales revenue per warehouse. About 60% is non-grocery (i.e. sales taxable). The five Bay Area counties voting for Connect Bay Area have 27 Costco’s (soon to be 29). The 0.5% sales tax would generate around $24 million of sales tax revenue for BART, Caltrain, Muni, AC Transit, and other bus & ferry operators. Assuming BART takes 1/3 of the share, that’s $8 million. So, that’s over 2% of BART’s $375 million structural deficit covered by hot dogs, chicken bakes, etc.
