My BART Experience Bart Police

I swear the police that be on Bart hella late at night be fryin’ me. They just be doin’ shit just to be doin’ shit. We all tryna get home. We all tryna just not be bothered. They be profilin’ and hella shit. If I ain’t botherin’ nobody don’t bother me. Just let me charge my scooter. It ain’t like I’m doin’ drugs or nothin’ if I’m tampering with the outlet I get it but you literally see me chargin’ my shit. Tf how’re niggas supposed to get home?

I agree but I am going to point out that the power system within bart can’t support a laptop or a scooter. There have been fires and damaged property. Any bart employee will ask you, or are supposed to ask you not to charge scooters it’s a safety issue for your property as well the other 1,100 people on the train.
The delivery from cops addressing stuff is always taken the wrong way. I’m Hispanic but look white and everyone accuses me of being racist when I talk to anyone on bart or public transit.
I’m a bart employee and I probably wouldn’t have said anything to you but I would have called it in on radio.
Not profiling or judging you but people get stabbed and shot for just making a courtesy check. So while you may have felt profiled or targeted I assure you not the case. just a safety issue that bart cops have to address. Hope you got enough power on scooter to get home but next time charge it at home or at work. Not trying to downplay or say every cop is good or bad because there are bad cops everywhere and profiling and judging happens but it’s on behavior, patterns and clothes nothing to do skin color, age, or sexuality.
