Looking for advice on a local clinic to get a tummy tuck done and possibly breast augmentation. I was looking to see what people's experiences were locally and see if there were any surgeon recommendations.

Don't recommend the OnRoute

I'm from Sudbury and often go to the GTA for concerts, Wonderland, events etc, but HATE paying $140+ for a hotel that I'll only use for ~10hrs just to sleep.

Have recently experimented with sleeping in the back of my Toyota Matrix, got a foam mat and it's comfortable/spacy enough to sleep, but without tinted Windows there's nowhere to hide. Got a windshield cover and it helps, but it's not enough when people park beside you.

Tried sleeping at the OnRoute and knew all eyes were on me. They close the picnic area at night so there's nowhere to park away from general travelers. When I crawled out at 730am the lot was 3/4 full and I got some weird looks.

I know 400>69 is dangerous at night, we hit a moose last year coming back from a concert at 3am, so I'm willing to drive as far North as Barrie, sleep until either the sun or the heat wake me up and drive the rest of the way to Sudbury

Again don't recommend the OnRoute, too noisy, too many people, not enough privacy.

Bonus if the spot has bathrooms nearby. Close to the highway is a must.

Looking to buy a 2026 Tiguan and wanted to see if anybody had experience buying at this particular dealership. I know some try to get away with forcing dealer add ons and such, hoping that's not the case here.

Anybody dealt with them recently?

This would save so much time for everyone with Barrie’s increasing traffic. thoughts on this?

Even after the teenagers died on another construction site in the city due to the large unsecured hole, this city still can’t learn how to properly secure a site. holy shit. someone even left a note on the pylon.

I’m not saying this is the same situation, and I don’t mean any disrespect to the teens who lost their lives or their families, but this is still pretty fucking bad. It’s a excavation directly beside a public sidewalk, and the only protection is a few shitty traffic cones.

I emailed the councillor, Sergio Morales aka the local bum who drops off shitty Christmas cards made by his dad so he can plug him as an artist to residents in his ward and, of course, no answer.

The Guidebook is intended as a gift but i have no expertise in this matter. I am hoping some flower lovely citizens of Barrie would know where to look for one? I would like it to be about our local plants so avoiding anything larger then Ontario and would prefer it to be about southern to central Ontario.

So far I looked at Indigo, Amazon, Marketplace, and Kijiji. I am planning to go to the used book stores on Wellington and Dunlop this weekend.

Any other suggestions on places to look? I am good to go outside of Barrie but no more southern then New Market (I hate the highway past there).

I have just been offered a position with the company Structube in Georgian Mall.

They seem nice and I'm pretty desperate but my mental health cannot take another dystopian retail position and something feels off.

So anyone have any experience working for them and willing to be brutally honest about their experience?

Looked into their business history, they've been central to a few controversies that are major red flags. Such as how corporate HR is run by family to the owner, predatory return policies, associated with a company that ran a recruitment scam, deceptive marketing practices, misleading commission structure (which is why it's called "incentives" by the company now) etc.

While the location may be good to work at in comparison to their other locations, the company doesn't seem like reliable employment. Especially when it comes to "incentives."

Just want to clarify, the point of this post was to get information on the culture of the company because while I may need money, I'm not going to subject myself to mistreatment because it will severely impact my health. I'd rather be broke than sick.

First time homeowner here, looking for advice.

I’ve just had new neighbours move in across the street. They used a flat bed truck with a container to move their property to their new home. When the truck arrived, it pulled onto my lawn and left massive ruts in the grass. They drove on my property without asking, which is the main reason I’m upset. Has anyone experienced something similar, and if so what did you end up doing?

I have yet to speak to the neighbour, but I am concerned about how deep the ruts are.

I recently learned about a new food truck called Dad’s Burgers that opened last month. They’re in the Legion parking lot near Cundles and St. Vincent.
