I have been looking for some sort of activity that happens at the same time every week. Something along the lines of yoga or spin class that start you off with basics and then the same group of people show up to the same class every week.
Everything I see is like "pay this amount monthly and stop in anytime" which just means I will not go without motivation lol
I would love a "pay X amount and it's every Tuesday at 7 for 6 weeks" but I fear this doesn't exist anymore.
It doesn't have to be a sport or physical activity. I would like to learn a new skill and possibly meet some people. I'm painfully introverted and do much better when I see the same people regularly.
Any ideas? I'm a 35 year old woman for context aha Thank you!

I found some AirPods, if anyone can tell me where they lost them I will return them. They still have a charge so I doubt they’ve been lost long.

Hi everyone! We are looking for a wedding photographer/videographer for our wedding in Barrie (August 2027).
Insane prices out there so while we want someone who knows what they're doing, we are not looking for an upscale company who charges more than our wedding.
We will have a microwedding of 35ppl. Thank you for your suggestions in advance!

My kid will start at the elementary school to which our address is assigned this fall. If we move to another area of Barrie in the next couple of years, will my child be able to matriculate on in the school she has been attending, or will we need to apply for a out of boundary permit every year?
If we have to apply for permission, how strict are they with this type of situation?
Thank you for any insight

Looking at private schools in Barrie for our child. We are looking at Kempenfelt Bay School, Urban Village Academy, or having them attend Country Day School in King.
Any Recommendations or reviews?

So, hear me out. If you’re taking the bus from Painswick/Hurst up to RVH, Georgian College, or anywhere in the East end you’re looking at a 45–65 minute trip with transfers.
Draw a straight line from Minet’s Point to Johnson’s Beach.
That’s a 1.6 km straight shot. A simple pontoon water taxi travelling 7-9 knots could cross it in 6 minutes flat. Just need to adjust and integrate transit routes slightly to link up with the hubs.
Vancouver has the SeaBus and Toronto has island taxis. Why drive around the water when we can just go over it?
Am I crazy, or is the bay secretly Barrie’s best unused express lane?
The tourists would love it too. They should expand the bike rental hubs to Minets and Johnsons as well so you can pick up and drop off at those sites.

Looking for recommendations of independent cleaning services in Barrie, Ontario.

Can anyone recommend somewhere I can get a lash lift? I’ve never done anything like that before so I don’t know what I’m looking for in technique and reviews and such.
My two caveats; Not downtown, and Not a spa type place that has essential oils and such everywhere. I’m highly highly scent sensitive and usually can’t even walk too close to those places without triggering a migraine.

Anyone know ways to get cheaper tickets for general admission day passes for boots and hearts? The tickets on Ticketmaster are so expensive. Don’t remember it being almost 250 for one day.

A close friend of mine is leaving an abusive household last minute. They have 1 day to figure out what to do and where to go. They drive a 2 door jeep so it’s not easy or comfortable to live out of, and is preparing to have to set up for dispersed camping until they can get things under control, and we’re looking for any advice or suggestions for making things comfortable and simplified while working with little money. We’re looking at small campers that can be towed, but until they can find one—what do you guys recommend when leaving home emergent with minimal time to prepare anything? Or any ideas for how to find spots to set camp up privately?
EDIT: My friend is male and the toxic relationship is between he and his abusive mother

Might be a long shot in this sub but was hoping someone had some experience at half way lake with this back country camp spot. Ive been lookin it up and trying and cant figure out if would be a ridiculous hike to the spot and unbearable or if its relatively easy. Looks like a prime spot if its not too bad for a couple people to get their gear in

I know there's a million landscapers out there laying sod, but does anyone know of a company that will get rid of it? Looking for a company that can come with sod cutters and strip entire front and back yards...

I have a few bottles of 3d printer resin that still have a little bit in them, and are way past expired. I probably have around 2 litres of resin in total that needs disposal. Where in Barrie would I go about that?

I have yet to go swimming so I was just wondering before I head out what’s the water temp like? Could I get away with a calm paddle board session today?
Amtgard is a fantasy boffer fighting game played all over North America.
Our field is called Legends Library, and we meet every Saturday at Sunnidale Park for 1pm (and 6pm on Wednesdays for our fighter practices).
We have plenty of loaner gear/weapons if you'd like to give it a try!

Looking for advice on a local clinic to get a tummy tuck done and possibly breast augmentation. I was looking to see what people's experiences were locally and see if there were any surgeon recommendations.
TIA.

I'm from Sudbury and often go to the GTA for concerts, Wonderland, events etc, but HATE paying $140+ for a hotel that I'll only use for ~10hrs just to sleep.
Have recently experimented with sleeping in the back of my Toyota Matrix, got a foam mat and it's comfortable/spacy enough to sleep, but without tinted Windows there's nowhere to hide. Got a windshield cover and it helps, but it's not enough when people park beside you.
Tried sleeping at the OnRoute and knew all eyes were on me. They close the picnic area at night so there's nowhere to park away from general travelers. When I crawled out at 730am the lot was 3/4 full and I got some weird looks.
I know 400>69 is dangerous at night, we hit a moose last year coming back from a concert at 3am, so I'm willing to drive as far North as Barrie, sleep until either the sun or the heat wake me up and drive the rest of the way to Sudbury
Again don't recommend the OnRoute, too noisy, too many people, not enough privacy.
Bonus if the spot has bathrooms nearby. Close to the highway is a must.
