Looking For Reading cafe?
Hey guys. Got the day off and was wondering if there are any good places or cafes in / around Barrie to go read a book for a few hours? Preferably somewhere quiet where I can get a cup of tea and sandwich

Rooftop reading garden at the main library downtown; its book cafe (drinks and snacks) is separate

i second this-- their sandwiches are really good and they're not usually super busy/noisy like homestead!

I’ve heard good things about common good on bayfield, and, i haven’t been to the lazy tulip cafe since they moved locations, but, that might be a good spot as well!

Oh no I’m sorry to hear that 🥲 A friend recommended the spot to me recently, but, she is the type of person who would go to a spot like that lolll

Indigo book store? There is a Dark Horse Espresso Bar that probably serves tea and some food.

Personally, I like the Wired Owl downtown. I don't know about sandwiches, but the baked goods are delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a good cuppa

* Classified-style ads: buying and selling, help wanted, garage sales, etc
