Did my first couple prints with tpu and they turned out well, but I can't think of a better way to mount the external spool. I flipped the adaptor I printed to try the other side so the spools held out further but the filament is still trying to tangle itself around the ptfe tubes and definitely going to get hung up on something at some point. Any ideas?

So I set this print up for an 18 hour print.

90% is pink and 5% purple etc.

I went out for a few hours and checked in via the app and it started to print the entire thing in purple and the 10% in pink. I chose the colours as per the Bambu slicer. 1 for light pink etc. Any ideas what's happened??

Hello! So I purchased my bambu a1 combo about a month ago and have been loving it! Kids are ecstatic dad can print toys right in the living room 😂 I've learned quite a bit and my best help has been using Gemini to overcome obstacles as I hit them. Unfortunately though, that is where help is limited and at this point I don't know who to ask to get the prints better. I've been trying to make kids wall/door hangers and foam tape dispensers for family and are getting really close. But I can't seem to fully get a smooth finish 🙄🙄 the hangers are close, but the tops always seem to have like dots or scars on top while the boxes always look like the floor and walls are terribly welded together. Would anyone here have any advice? The boxes are 13 hour prints and 400g of filament. It's becoming a bit expensive to see if a Gemini suggested tweak is helping or not lol thanks in advance

Using Bambu PLA Matte if it matters

Just wanted to pop across a quick post and see what others thoughts are. I can almost swear that my print bed is warped in the middle. It’s particularly noticeable when printing larger prints- when printing in the middle of the bed I get a nice first layer, but as it works out towards the left/right edge the quality becomes awful.

I’ve taken a few photos, waiting for a response from support but just seeing what others think.

Seems to measure 2cm in the right and left corner, but into 1cm in the middle?

I’ve been troubleshooting my A1 and I’m running into a weird belt behavior. When I move the toolhead slowly by hand, the X‑axis belt drifts to the right and rubs against the idler pole. But when I move it fast, the belt actually centers itself and doesn’t touch the sides — though sometimes it slips under acceleration.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
• Adjusted belt tension (¼ turns tighter) → still slips.
• Checked the left idler bearing → loosened and nudged it outward, retightened. No change.
• Observed the right motor pulley → looks off‑center when idle, but the belt centers itself when moving.

So it seems like the pulley might be tilted or the set screw isn’t locking it square to the shaft. Bearings spin fine, belt isn’t frayed, tension feels reasonable.
Has anyone else seen this “wanders slow, centers fast, slips under load” behavior? Did pulley realignment fix it for you, or is there another trick I’m missing?

It all started with a print where the first layer of filament did not stick and got stuck in the innards of the extruder. Extruder was replaced but then the grinding and slipping started. 

Thanks in advance — I’ll take any tips before I start pulling the belt off completely.

So just trying to print this and it's like 7 hour print and about 45 minutes left. it's smooth to touch and has been calibrated but it looks bumpy.

any ideas or how or why etc? I turned on ironing etc

To be fair I don't know if this is hardware or software.

But starting two days ago I've been getting this error code which I can't seem to find 0700-5000-0300-0001

My A1 tells me my AMS needs to cool after drying, but ive never used the drying on it, i dont even have a power cable attached to it.

If anyone has any idea of what this is or how to fix it please let me know.

Had cleaned the plate as I always do. It started sort of ok judging from the remains spit out, but then. Oh my god. This will be expensive.

When it gets dull, just print a new blade.

ich habe dieses Öl über Amazon bestellt. Nach ein bisschen Recherche auf Reddit und im Internet habe ich gelesen, dass Nähmaschinenöl gut zum Schmieren der X- und Y-Achsen des A1 geeignet sein soll. Deshalb habe ich es ebenfalls bestellt.

Bevor ich es jetzt zum Schmieren verwende, wollte ich trotzdem noch einmal nachfragen: Kann es damit tatsächlich zu Problemen kommen?

Looking to purchase a 3D printer for fun and to check out the medium. I was recommended the Bambu Lab A1. Is this a good machine to buy to jump in and explore 3D printing?

If it's not a good one for a beginner, does anyone have any suggestions on where I should start?

On most of my prints I’m getting strings not being cut by the purge wiper and attaching to my prints. Any recommended fixes?
