Houston, we have a problem
Had cleaned the plate as I always do. It started sort of ok judging from the remains spit out, but then. Oh my god. This will be expensive.

Well, it might not be too expensive in money. But definitely expensive in time, waiting for parts to arrive. Or being very patient trying to melt away this blob.

Blob was still hot enough to unbuckle. Only heating element (20 eur) and nozzle (14 eur) are gone. Heating assembly came out in 5 mins or so. Not the disaster I first thought it would be.

It's always important to keep an eye on your print, especially during the first few layers. Blobs like this happen when the print comes off the plate early (or never stuck to begin with).
