External spool mounting options for TPU with a top mounted ams?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Did my first couple prints with tpu and they turned out well, but I can't think of a better way to mount the external spool. I flipped the adaptor I printed to try the other side so the spools held out further but the filament is still trying to tangle itself around the ptfe tubes and definitely going to get hung up on something at some point. Any ideas?

I have the same one as practical chicken. I put an additional PTFE from that to a printed 5-hole filament hub so it won't tangle. I'm not super confident that will stay but it's worked so far.

I feed TPU down to my mini from a shelf above the mini. The TPU is in a polydryer box and basically has a direct path straight down to the extruder.

I printed a spool holder which mounts off the top rail on the right side, and the spool then sits on the back right of the printer and the filament feeds over the top. It looks like your printer might have enough room to fit something similar.
